The house was exactly as described and reviewed, the best possible location in the Battery area of Charleston, historical home with the porch and garden over looking the river, really a rare find, we will definitely come back.

This lovely mansion was just steps from the Battery, Rainbow Row, and shopping on King Street. The home was furnished impeccably with magnificent views of the beautiful backyard with glimpses of the ocean just beyond.

Nice, clean property with owners living on site. LOTS of stairs so not for older guests or those with mobility issues (or heavy suitcases). Lovely neighborhood to get your steps in.

Wonderful historic home

We had a wonderful stay. I would recommend this stay to anyone and we really enjoyed it. This was a blessing to have as we are a Marine Corps veteran couple who had our families meet for the first time here. It was a perfect three days!

We had the most wonderful experience staying at the Bennett house! The hosts were wonderful and the house had all of the historic charm we had hoped for! Highly recommend!

This was such an ideal spot for experiencing the historic charm of Charleston. The home was spacious and filled with beautiful furnishings. We enjoyed walks on The Battery and King Street shopping was a beautiful few blocks walk away. We also spent time relaxing on the porch. It was money well spent for beautiful family memories.

Fabulous getaway

Three couples enjoyed a fabulous week in Charleston. Location is great -- enjoyable walking distance to all the sites and restaurants. We also enjoyed being at home together, especially the fantastic porches and southern spring weather.

Beautiful Historic Home - Spectacular Location.

Very much enjoyed our 4-night stay. Lovely home and very well appointed. Most comfortable in all respects for our family of 7. We walked to dine and shop on King Street and Downtown areas.

My 2 teenage kids and I had a great stay at this home. The owners are very nice and easy to talk to. The home is in a great part of town and very quiet. Loved it, would absolutely stay again.

Such a beautiful home. The property had a very warm and welcome feel to it.

The house was incredible. Super close to everything. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us. Beds were super comfortable!
