A great week of hiking with family

This house was exactly what we needed. Enough space for everyone to get some alone time. Absolutely fantastic views of the mountains out the windows. Close to RMNP.

Large enough for our Family

We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation, which this large, comfortable property made possible. The location and views are outstanding. Our children and grandchildren had a wonderful time, making for a great couple of weeks together.

Family Time in the Mountains

This house was perfect for 4 couples ane 2 children. Lots of space, everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, and the location was great. The view incredible!

Fabulous mountain home!

We love everything about this wonderful huge well stocked home. There is a trail in neighborhood that connects to RMNP.

We really enjoyed this home. It was large enough for our entire family except it could only sleep 10 people comfortably instead of 12. The view from the decks were awesome. The kitchen was well supplied. The wi-fi was great and Ryan was very responsive. Check in was easy.

Best Family Reunion Ever

We have stayed in Windcliff numerous times and this was by far the best home for a reunion with our three children and their families. Very spacious with a family gathering room on each of the three floors. Well stocked kitchen. Many of the rooms had fantastic views of the mountains. Will definitely return in the future.

Absolutely phenomenal!

The house is much larger than the pictures make it out to be and is stunningly beautiful!!! Very clean and well kept. Lots of places to hang out and easy to keep kids and adults separate if wanted. Was fortunate enough to meet the owner… very nice and friendly. Would highly recommend and will def stay there again! Thanks Ryan!!!

We had the most incredible week at Elk Summit! This house surpassed all our expectations! It was incredibly well stocked from kids toys to the kitchen! Our family of 8 had plenty of space to enjoy family time at the house. The garage was great to store rental cars. We loved the steam showers to help with the dry mountain air, a great luxury to have! The games and movies were plentiful and we fully enjoyed them during our stay! We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a family friendly home to stay in!!!!

Stunning views. Immaculate. Spacious. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more. The large bedrooms and full baths gave everyone privacy. Couldn't imagine a better place to create precious memories.

The views from the home are gorgeous, and watching the sunset from the deck every evening was a highlight of our trip. Plus, seeing deer right outside the house daily was a huge hit with everyone.Ideal Layout & Setup for FamiliesWe had a party of 11—six adults and five kids ranging from 3 months to 5 years old. The layout accommodated our large group comfortably, and the house is so spacious that we didn't even need to use the basement bedroom.Kitchen & AmenitiesThe kitchen is fantastic for feeding a big crew, stocked with a great quantity of utensils, pots, and pans. The host even provided two full backup propane tanks for the grill, which made outdoor cooking hassle-free.Minor Suggestions for the HostA few small tweaks would make this place 100% perfect: * Adding a large-capacity frying pan to the kitchen inventory. * Sharpening the existing kitchen knives. * Adding a Wi-Fi home speaker system. * Providing extra batteries or a charging station for the gaming system controllers.Overall, it's a phenomenal home with a thoughtful host. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely Beautiful Views

This large home is beautifully set on the hills in Windcliff. The views are breath taking and the house is large and beautiful. Just know the roads up to the house and to the driveway are steep and many winding switchbacks.... but totally worth it.

Elk Summit stay June 2023

Family vacation, the house was perfect for our three familys to gather at the same location. We had room to spread out and it was very accommodating on a rainy day. The only thing that could have been better would have been a comfortable recliner/recliners in the main level great room. We had one member of our party that had a hard time with going up/down steps.

Merry Christmas

Came out to stay for Christmas with my family. Ages ranged from 1-83 and everyone LOVED the home. They made it so special for the Holiday! Tree was beautiful & every room was decorated! Could not have done it better myself! Home had EVERYTHING we needed & plenty of space for our group of 12. Will be staying here again. Not to mention the amazing views from every level!

The home is very spacious and easy for families to find separate spaces, but great for accommodating everyone together as well. The kitchen is very well equipped and stocked with most everything one would need. we could have four people working in the kitchen without tripping over each other. The property manager came promptly when we had an issue with the refrigerator. The view from the deck is marvelous.Each bedroom is roomy with an ensuite or nearby bathroom. The plumbing can be noisy. Overall, a fabulous stay!

In general, we had a great stay. The house was ideally located with great views of the mountains, and not too distant from town or park entrance. We were delayed from arriving at 4 PM due to late departure a previous guest. We did have issues with comforters on the beds Not being clean and problem with ventilation in the afternoon and evening as the house became very warm then. There was ample kitchen supplies for use But we found one of the knobs on the gas stove was stripped out. We very much enjoyed the property, and everyone agreed that it was a great place to stay, although with all the fees involved it was a bit expensive. We would definitely stay there again.

The large, well appointed house accommodated three generations very comfortably. What the pictures online, however, do not convey is the fantastic view. My 4 year old granddaughter said, “I love how the mountains look in the morning!” My 5 year old grandson marveled at how we could almost touch the sky! The kitchen is well equipped with many staples provided. Be forewarned that the driveway is steep , but we learned to back down it. I highly recommend the house that is very close to the Rocky Mountain National Park and YMCA camp entrances.

Massive house, Massive views!

This house is three floors of big open spaces. We mainly gathered on the upper floor because it is carpeted, and more comfortable for our two year olds. The loft area up there is so big we were able to inflate a bounce house for our little ones to play in! The best part of this house is the location and the views, but that isn’t all the house has to offer. There’s plenty of room for multiple families with 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The two decks are great for watching the sunset behind the mountains every night. Cooking isn’t a problem because every pot or pan you could possibly need is provided. The home is nicely decorated, and the owners are just a phone call away if you should need anything.

Spacious and comfortable with a fantastic view

They were quick to repair a shower problem. Nice deck for star watching. Nice that they had unscented laundry soap, but many of the rooms had a fragrance when we checked in. The fragrance went away after a day or 2, except in one area where it seems the fragrance was coming from an "owner's closet" (no big deal for people who aren't sensitive to fragrance). Many lightbulbs were missing so some areas were dark. It would be nice to have some shade on the deck in the afternoon/early evening - this is when we wanted to use it but it was just too bright and warm, so we stayed inside. The garage door opener code did not work for us. The TV instructions for the basement TV were not sufficient so we couldn't use that TV. Small problems - overall we loved it.
