Great Location
Turtle Dunes is where I stay when I come to Amelia. It is one of the prettiest locations on the property. The views of the beach are lively and the pool and beach are fantastic. Even on holiday weekends the pool and beach are never too crowded.
The unit we stayed in had a great floor plan for a family with all the bedrooms on the upper floor. The unit also came with 2 nice bikes.
The rental agents were helpful, but having to drive 20 minutes away from the property to check in and out was a pain. Most units these days have keyless entry.
The unit was stingy on basic supplies. There’ was not enough paper towels in the kitchen or toilet paper in the downstairs bath to get us through the first night. The unit has not been updated and is not decorated, furnished, or maintained in the way you would expect a unit in that building.
We had a great time and the unit works well for a family with young kids. If I were coming with friends, I would prefer a more updated unit.
