The place was clean and quiet. The backyard private and inviting. We were within walking distance of a couple of places to eat. There was coffee and filters (always a plus). Our only problem is that we were unaware that Michigan City was in a different time zone than the rest of Indiana so we were an hour early. (Perhaps mention that somewhere), but we were able to get in early after contacting the host.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, newly restored home in Michigan City! There was plenty of room for our family, and the open, clean spaces felt very welcoming. Check-in and check-out were super easy, and the host had great communication throughout our stay. The house had a warm and positive vibe that made us feel right at home.I really loved the open layout, but the home overall wasn’t very baby-proofed due to the staircases and some decorative items, which made it a bit tricky with our one-year-old. The only other small thing was that the TVs weren’t smart TVs, so it was harder for the kids to watch a movie at night. Still, we had a great experience overall and would definitely recommend this place to others!
