Fantastic residence and location. Giovanni met us early for check in so we didn’t have to stow bags. Very secure building. The private terrace was beautiful to sit on in the evenings. Close to 1/2 way between the Vatican and the Colosseum. Walkable to all of the major sites. - We had a great time!

Awesome location to do everything you want, comfortable beds, great A/C, excellent information upon check-in, well laid out, and really lovely terrace. Would absolutely stay here again!

This apartment is nothing short of wonderful, it's roomy, comfortable and in an excellent location. If you're here during hot weather, as we were, the air-conditioning is top-notch. There are so many shops and restaurants within a short walking distance you'll have no problem finding everything you need. The roof top private terrace is really nice with wonderful views. All communication with our host went smoothly. This place is a winner!

This apartment is comfortable and the location was perfect for our family. I appreciated the coffee provided, and the air conditioning was a life-saver in July heat. We would stay there again, no question!

Great Place, in a nice location if you plan to hit all the attractions. We loved the access to the patio. We spent many nights up there after long days of hitting all the tours and sites in Rome. Plenty of places to eat at nearby. Would stay there again.

This apartment is in an ideal location. Easy walking to all the main sites plus restaurants and shops right out the front door. Spacious, comfortable, clean, and quiet. The A/C worked extremely well. Our host was wonderful, proactively communicating with us and also available with a quick response to any questions we had during our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Large apartment with nice separation of rooms on either side of the flat - perfect for. a family of four. Quaint bathrooms. Fantastic large terrace on the top floor of the building with views of the city. Good location for walking to the Vatican, Castel Sant Angelo, Pantheon & Trevi, Piazza Navona. Surrounded by excellent restaurants without all the craze of the super popular sections of the city. I would stay here again. Check in was smooth and they didn’t nickel & dime over an early arrival - so appreciated.Just a few FYIs for the benefit of others:The listing shows 2 versions of the kitchen - confirming it’s the photo that shows the renovated kitchen. The VRBO listing says check out is at 11am; it’s at 10:30am unless late check out is arranged. The host is very accommodating!There is no dryer for laundry but a drying rack & hangers are provided. There was water damage to the wood flooring in the living room from a kitchen water leak. They are actively resolving this as of later October 2026.One dish towel was provided for use in the kitchen. You may want to grab some paper towels if traveling with kids or staying longer than a few days.Overall excellent stay and we hope to visit again!

Great central location! Easy walking distance to The Vatican, Pantheon, Trevi et al. Tons of good restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment was well furnished- coffee and basic toiletries were provided. Great space for couples or families - rooms were on opposite sides lending for some privacy as needed and each room has their own separate bathroom. (Big watchout in master bathroom - there's a step down from the toilet to the sink- if you're not paying attention you can trip very easily.) Large private terrace one flight up from apartment- perfect for morning coffee or espresso! Would not hesitate at all to re-book here on our return to Rome! Very nice!

The apartment was very comfortable and quiet, yet once you went downstairs you were centrally located near restaurants, stores, buses and attractions.

The communication with HometoRome was excellent. Made our visit easy. The apartment was spacious and had a more modern kitchen. Happy there was an elevator on the second floor. Once in apartment, there are several small steps up or down in hallway and bathrooms. Good place for us to stay in Rome-safe and fairly centrally located.

The listing should include the stairs needed to climb, with your luggage. Inside the apartment there are steps in the bathrooms/bedrooms. The step in the Master bath was not marked and my husband and I both fell. I put K2 tape on the floor for a step reminder. The toilet in the second bathroom did not have paper. For the entire stay the toilet had trouble flushing and had a bad odor. We reported it- they said they would stop by the next day, but never did fix the toilet. The odor was strong in that bedroom/bath for our entire stay and never flushed properly.The washer ran for hours - once stopped, we unplugged for 10 minutes in order for the lid to open.At check in, Peter informed us of the huge water leak. There was visible damage to the living room wall and the paneled flooring was buckling. We placed a chair over the buckle as to not trip. We were asked not to use the air conditioner in the living room until the leak could be identified. We were informed that Patricia, the owner, would come in with a worker on 2 occasions, one from 2PM - 5PM. We returned at 5:40PM. They were still in the apartment and left debris and tools on the living room floor. Patricia informed us, on the 3rd day, of our 4 day stay that we could now use the dishwasher. We weren't offered any refund, but received a bit after we requested.The location is good. We liked the terrace view.Due to the above circumstances, we rated 3 stars

The clock terrace apartment was ideal in EVERY way! Location! Amenities! Space! The best was the service and communication provided by the hosts! We encountered some travel delays and time constraints and From Home to Rome personnel adjusted check in and were waiting for us so we could meet our touring schedule. The car transport from the airport (and back to the airport) was perfect and on time and a good value. The property is close to everything and private/quiet enough to get a good night sleep! We HIGHLY recommend this property for your time in Roma!

Ideal location to immerse yourself into the culture of Rome. Historical sites and other places of interest are an enjoyable short walk away. Local restaurants and cafes are just outside the front door.

We enjoyed our 8 day stay. Emanuele, Sara, and their team made us feel welcome and were always available to answer questions and assist us when needed. The Flat was great and gave us a “home away from home” feeling. We didn’t get time to enjoy the terrace due to busy schedule and weather, but I know it would have been a relaxing and peaceful environment to enjoy. Thank you for a great stay!

This was one of my favorite stays in Rome although there must be 25 stairs to the lift, not 15. The terrace is on an upper floor but still worth it.
