Great location-especially if you bring kayaks like we did. House was very clean and had all essentials. Mattress in master bedroom was too soft for us but some may like it. The covered outdoor patio is a perfect place to have your coffee and watch the boats go up and down the canal. We are very thankful we could bring our dogs with us and appreciated the fenced yard. We would love to rent the house again but rumor is the owners plan to sell the house.

We have a small child and the distance to the beach from the house is great. You can run in and out as needed. Also a large porch for the pups. We enjoyed the location and how quiet it was as well

We absolutely loved our stay here! If you’re looking for a brand-new, ultra-modern house, this may not be your cup of tea. But if you’re looking for peace, quiet, privacy, and your own little slice of heaven, this place is hard to beat!The house has so much character and charm, and we actually got a good laugh out of the “Established 1976” sign because I was celebrating my 50th birthday during our stay. Talk about perfect timing! Apparently, the house and I are both officially vintage! Our favorite part was the private little beach. We could fish, soak up the sun, relax, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings without the crowds, oh and the dolphins gave me a little birthday show (I was not expecting that in the bay!) And being able to bring our best baby dog along made it even better! The host was wonderful and even checked in with us a couple of times to make sure everything was going well, which we really appreciated.It was exactly the kind of laid-back, relaxing vacation we were looking for. No crowds, no craziness—just sunshine, fishing, beach time, our dog, and plenty of peace and quiet.We would absolutely stay here again! If you appreciate character, privacy, a beautiful setting, and a slower pace over a cookie-cutter modern house, this place is a gem!

Beach Retreat is by far my families favorite vacation house., even our Golden Retriever had a blast.

Beautiful home and location

Home was in a beautiful location. We loved the private beach and watching all the boats. Sunset Grill is easy to walk to for dinner and am amazing sunset!

the sandy backyard backing into the key was gorgeous. The public ocean beach is only a few minutes’ drive away.All in all , a very tranquil and enjoyable weekend The host was was great. Our enquiries were answered promptly.

Great Stay

This was in a great location. Sunset Grill nearby has great food. House was clean. Nothing fancy but we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Getaway

Very nice older cottage. Great view, deck, beach area. Just as described and pictured. Very clean and spacious. Perfect for a quiet getaway with our dachshund. Would love to visit again.

Nice hideaway

Good place to relax and watch the world go by. Nice house, updated kitchen. Great deck. Enjoy the parade of boats, big and small that goes by daily.

Great vacation home!

We really enjoyed staying on the intercostal waterway, it was almost like having your own private beach! The house was wonderful, very clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could want. It was great being able to bring the dogs also, they enjoyed the sand as much as we did. Plus the neighborhood is dog friendly. We’ll be back!

Great place for a family vacation.

This rental was nicely laid out for having a large family or a few couples. There was plenty of seating, space, and kitchen items for the 8 people we had in our group. We didn't have the best of weather (Cristobol was coming through), but were still able to enjoy the beach area and water access in the back yard of the property. There are also a number of restaurants nearby.

Wonderful, pet friendly home.

We had a great time. The hosts were only a text away! They were so gracious. Beds were very comfortable. Everything met our needs and we look forward to hopefully returning next year. It was a great experience. The first time we had used Vrbo. No hesitation to use it again!

Beautiful spot with a beautiful beach

We booked a week at this sweet beach house for my mother’s 70th birthday and enjoyed every moment. The house has a nice open kitchen and living area looking out to a beautiful private beach and waterfront. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, plates, glasses etc and was perfect for our needs. Although the home is older and could use a little updating with the bathrooms, the decor is charming and well suited to ‘beach life’ entertaining .
