WATER'S RAND - Een paradijs aan de rivier! Prive gelegen op 2 hectare aan de rivier door de New River met uitzicht op de bergen en lange rivier. Vis, buis of zwem de Nieuwe Rivier. Maak een fietstocht langs de rivier, rij aan de rivier, geniet van de bovengrondse draagbare vuurplaats of dutje in de hangmat. Voor elk wat wils! Ontworpen voor de grotere familie om van te genieten, deze hut beschikt over een grote kamer met gewelfd plafond en zichtbare balken, stenen open haard met gasblokken, gratis wifi, bijgewerkte 40-inch smart-flatscreen-tv en satelliet met slaapbank .. 1/2 badkamer uit woonkamer. En ja, houd uw e-mails of een e-vergadering bij met de draadloze high-speed DSL.

Eethoek met grote eettafel en eetbar met krukken.

Goed uitgeruste keuken voor alle gezinsmaaltijden. Hoofdniveau biedt ook Master suite met queensize bed, satelliet-tv en complete badkamer met extra grote jacuzzi en aparte douche.

De bovenverdieping biedt een grote zolder met een slaapbank. 2e slaapkamer met queensize bed en een eigen balkon met prachtig uitzicht op de bergen en de rivier. 3e slaapkamer met 2 aparte bedden en bijgewerkte Smart Flatscreen TV. Ook 2e bad. Elke kamer van deze hut biedt een uitstekend uitzicht op de rivier en de bergen.

Lager niveau biedt grote onafgemaakte kamer met spelletjes voor kinderen. Ontspan op het extra grote terras met patio set.

Het beste van alles is een wandeling langs de rivier en geniet van smores onder de sterren. Gemakkelijke toegang tot de rivier om te vissen, zwemmen of kajakken. Vraag naar gereduceerde tarieven voor Golf bij Jefferson Landing.

The house was so beautiful! Very clean, had all the pots and pans needed, great view of the New River and so fun being able to play in the water! The kids absolutely loved it. It was also really nice being able to bring our dog- great weekend for the whole family. We would def book this house again!

Overall, a great stay. Great spot in the river for dogs, kayaks, fishing, etc. Clean home and quiet being next to Jefferson landing. Would recommend staying here!

We loved this spacious house! It was very convenient to everything we needed (lots of shopping)! The only issue was with the tv's - not sure if it was the internet or app we were trying to use to watch tv. But that was the least of our worries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay here! It’s a nice quiet area with tons of birds. The house is well stocked with nice pots, pans, cookie sheets etc. it was very clean and well kept. We enjoyed hanging out by the river and fishing. We caught creek chubs, smallmouth bass, rock bass, and some bluegills. We brought waders with and they made it easy to get around in the river. Access down to the river was super easy with the steps they have. Our dogs loved the yard and sitting in the sun on the deck. Definitely plan on coming back. One of our favorite vacation rentals! Host was very responsive with any questions we had.

Beautiful place to spend time with family

Everything was great. We created memories throughout our holiday stay. Place is so clean and so much privacy. Communication with the office was so easy and quick. I love everything about this cabin. I hope we comeback sometime.

Serene & Peaceful

We enjoyed our stay so much! Location and river access was exactly what we wanted. Kitchen was stocked well for cooking. Hot tub and fire pit were great for evening relaxation. Lots of room for hanging out and playing games. Only downside was the neighbor’s loud obnoxious music

Long Family Weekend

We enjoyed a relaxing weekend on this beautiful property next to the river. It was just as pictured online. Clean, beautiful and peaceful! Weather was perfect for the kids to play in the river during the day and to snuggle up by the fire at night. We may book again and get both cabins !!

Million dollar view

Loved sitting on porch listening to the river flow by. The cons to this property was the stairs which are really steep and need heavier blinds in bedrooms and bath.

A good riverfront rental.

The house was clean except for the amount of dog hair on the furniture. It seemed like every time we sat down we were covered in dog hair. I don’t think the cleaning people are doing their job correctly.

Wonderful cabin on the river

Wonderful cabin on the New river. We Love West Jefferson area, and went out for a birthday trip for my son- to kayak, go tubing (and fish) on the river. Access to the river is a bit steep when you get right next to the river, but manageable (with the help of my husband and son). it's also like that for a lot of homes in the area. HUGE yard that is level, wonderful views, nice home. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. There was an extra bed on the lower level where ping pong table is (i don't recall it being listed). It was a nice surprise for my sons friend - who stayed down there instead of using a pull out sofa.

Excellent location but lighting needs improvement.

We enjoyed our stay very much except for the lack of lighting especially on the stairs to the lower level. Many bulbs were out including the one on the stairs to the lower level and the light over the kitchen table went out Friday night. We reported it to the number given for weekend contact Saturday morning. The lights were still out when we left this morning.

The owner is looking to replace the tract lighting in the kitchen, also. We are sorry that this was not rectified when it happened during your stay. Waters Edge was beautiful!

The location in amazing. Even the drive to the cabin is a beautiful country setting with green pastures filled with grazing cows. There are 2 cabins next to each other so if coming in at night be sure you are at the right one. The cabin was clean and well appointed with awesome views of the river. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck listening to the water rush by and watching occasional kayakers. Very relaxing get away!

Weekend in Jefferson NC

Overall experience was great! TVs need updated and mattresses were very hard. Other than that we had a wonderful time. We had a total of 6 people and had plenty of room for everyone.

Overall it was great.

The house was very nice and as pictured. It wasn’t as private as we thought, but the river was beautiful in the backyard. The jacuzzi tub had a lot of black dirt coming out when on, so that was a disappointment, and the master bed was very hard. But overall we had a very nice stay.

We do not advertise the cabin as private, but it does have a very large, flat yard with a firepit next to the river. We clean out the jacuzzi tub and run jets regularly, so we are checking into this issue. The King mattress in the master bedroom is basically brand new(less than 2 months old). Great location, bad experience.

So much potential. Beautiful location, beds were hard as rocks, it would have been more comfortably to sleep on the floor. GFCI outlet kept tripping and we were advised to purchase an extension cord(at our expense) and plug the router into a different outlet to get WiFi. Light bulbs were out(in the staircase to the basement and in the ‘dining’ area), tvs didn’t work and the one that did had dead batteries so we had to scavenge from the other remotes for it to work. Again, gorgeous location right on the river with so much potential.

Love this place

This was the second time we rented this house we love it we love the fact that we can drop in at Zulu's canoes and then pull out right at the house and it's a nice short kayaking trip we love the views we love the yard and the space. Location is on point. When we came in we can tell that it had been cleaned thoroughly it's not very fresh and clean.

New River Fun

The house was wonderful. Beautiful views and great access to the New River. We were able to go for long walks along the river and lived the fire pit!
