Great quiet country place! Got to float the river and even check out a local drive in theatre. Enjoyed it all.

It was an amazingly beautiful stay. The only draw back was that the one AC unit in the cabin did not reach the bedroom so we had to sleep in the living room. Would stay again, just not in the summer.

Views were beautiful and peaceful. 1 hiccup (absolutely NOT the fault of Host! The electricity wentout and did mess up some of the electronics. The Host reached out immediately when we connected with rhem and went above and beyond trying to assist once the Electric Company had power restored. We would surely stay again if we go back to the area

The area and view was absolutely beautiful. Enjoyed the fireplace at night while listening to nature. Great place!

Linda Linda was an excellent guest. She communicated clearly, respected the house rules, and left the cabin clean and tidy. She also took the time to secure the property before leaving, which we truly appreciate. Hosting her was a pleasure, and we would gladly welcome her back anytime

It is SO quiet and peaceful on the top of the mountain. Be sure to drive a 4WD or capable FWD vehicle, as the driveway up to the lovely cabin is a very steep, rocky road. Beautiful view, gorgeous sunrise, plenty of space to walk doggos, and pin-drop quiet with a blanket of stars overhead at night. If you want solitude, this place is perfect!

In one word, Serenity!Quiet, secluded escape for anyone looking to escape the chaos. Cabin was well furnished with everything you could need.Could not figure out the television, but that was the lowest on our priorities. Screened in lanai ( porch )was our favorite place. Deer visited each day & was a surprise to see Fireflies for the first time in 30 years!Only fault was not from the property, but from the steep gravel road the last half mile of the trip.4x4 would of been nice, but 2 wheel drive did the job. Just take it easy, lot of loose rock and gravel. Looking to return in the fall for the all the tree color's.

We arrived 1.5 hours early and messaged to see if early check-in would be allowed. Once there, we searched everywhere we thought a key could be, since we were given no exact location other than "keypod"; we couldn't find it. We reached out to Gayatri and waited about 20 minutes to hear back. We headed to Harp's for food so we wouldn't be sitting with nothing to do. Gayatri reached out while we were there with more specific instructions on where to look. I'd previously looked in the area she described and didn't see anything, but decided we'd check again when we got back to the cabin.Once there, I sent pictures showing the keys were not present. We then had to wait for her to get in touch with housekeeping and wait longer while they made a copy of a key...all while we had groceries sitting in the car. I think they finally arrived at about 4 pm. So, we weren't able to check in on time, due to no fault of our own. It wasn't really a great start to a long day of driving.The cabin was difficult to find, but fine otherwise; nothing to write home about. There were huge spiders present inside and out. I don't mind spiders too much, but anyone afraid of them wouldn't do well here. It was a quiet and peaceful location that was ideally located, so it served its purpose for us and our last minute booking.
