Once you have unpacked your things, you can make yourself comfortable on the couch or the cozy armchair in the living room and take a deep breath.
Or perhaps you're in the mood for something to eat and a drink? Then you'll find everything you need in the bright, spacious kitchen to whip up something tasty or quickly prepare a small snack. From Mathildenstraße, you have direct access to the south beach and various roads and paths from which you can explore the whole island.
Whether on foot, by bike or by car, you can be on the south beach with its yellow sand, the salty, cool Baltic Sea water or in the town center of Burg in just a few minutes. Burg auf Fehmarn is the largest town on Fehmarn. This means that you will find the largest range of restaurants, activities and stores here. There are even a few small clubs and dance and cocktail bars that you can visit if you or your children want to enjoy the nightlife.
If you prefer to be active, you will also find various fitness options or alternatively, you can cycle around the whole island. Or how about an ice cream? Just around the corner is Fehmarn's most famous soft ice cream parlor, which serves top-class soft ice cream from spring to autumn. If you order a "Jumbi" sundae at Raddens Eis, you'll get a sundae that's sure to be enough for the whole family.
