There were a few odd things that occurred in our stay. One were raccoons crawling on the roof but the host said they would take care of it after we left which we agreed to. There was a single roach, we looked everywhere and didn’t find another one it’s out in the woods a little bit so it wasn’t something that was scary. We blew a fuse downstairs and didn’t have access to power to fix it and had to wait for maintenance to come by flip the breaker. Overall though it’s a very nice property and we would stay again.

Great little getaway! Comfy and everything that is needed for simple lodging. The pups enjoyed it too. The location was perfect, as it was only a few minute drive and straight shot to Chattanooga and Lookout Mountain. We would definitely stay again!

Loved staying at the Barn on Hemlock Hill

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Barn on Hemlock Hill. It was comfortable and peaceful and had everything we needed for our Labor Day weekend stay.

Great Getaway

We loved that the house felt like it was away from the city yet close enough to Chattanooga to enjoy the downtown area and some great restaurants. Added bonus that we could bring our dog. We would definitely visit again.

Family gathering

We stayed here and the main house. Check-in was very easy and instuctions were great. Lots of space in the rooms and kitchen. The location is great and very close to attractions and restaurants. Will definitely stay again for a big family gathering.

Great location for a peaceful stay

We loved how close this vrbo was to the city while being out in peaceful nature at the same time. It was exactly what we needed for a restful but also fun stay. We did activities like Ruby Falls, went for hikes, swims, and spent some time downtown while barely ever driving over 20 minutes from the vrbo. We also loved the hot tub and how clean the vrbo was. Overall a wonderful stay!!

We enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay. This property was exactly as advertised and a very quick distance from Chattanooga. We particularity enjoyed it because it was quiet and accommodated our daughters bedtime schedule :) keeping everyone happy and rested for the vacation.

Secluded, but close to downtown

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was perfect for my husband and I, and our 2 golden retrievers. We loved how secluded it felt, but then how close it was to get downtown. We would absolutely stay here again.

Weekend getaway

We were pleased with our stay. It was a very good place to stay for our weekend away. It was very quiet, and a good place to come back to after we were out most of the day explore the Chattanooga area. As a history buff, I enjoyed the area. The property was very good for a couple.

Secluded and beautiful

We loved our stay in the barn. The house is well off the main road, so it's very quiet and peaceful, but only a 15 minute drive to downtown Chattanooga, so there are plenty of options for food and fun. Great value and a great stay. Highly recommend.

Peaceful Getaway

Enjoyed the beautiful area and home while in town for graduations and moving out our son from his first year of college. The space was clean, comfortable and a quiet place to relax after all the celebrations.

I want to start by saying I had excellent communication with the host. She even answered my questions after business hours before my stay even started. The place was beautiful & clean. The location was perfect as we split our time between downtown Chattanooga and Lookout mountain. I would definitely stay here again. 10/10 stay!!
