Future potential guests, really appreciate reading a review from a previous holiday maker - it is so reassuring for them We look forward to your staying with us again, when a future Bajan holiday might be in the cards... best regards Dayle (and Pat)

Thank you so much for sharing your happy vacation in Barbados, with others. I value your kind words, and appreciate the time taken from your busy schedule to write this review. It is so valuable for other visitors to hear directly from vacationers who have actually stayed in condo #1 I look forward to welcoming you back, the next time a Bajan Vacation is on your agenda! Thanks again for your review Dayle

Thank you for your feedback Augusto. When I wrote to you in Feb. 2025, I mentioned that this is my winter home (not a smart rental) and that if any little thing was amiss to please contact my rental manager Mrs Pat Bland so that it could be dealt with immediately. I regret that you did not mention these things to Pat, as I did check with her to enquire that everything was satisfactory. Both the coffee pot and the shower head have now been replaced.

Thank you so much Michael for the super review you gave us! It is very much appreciated, (sorry my thanks were delayed but your review was not published ear;ier due to an error) We will look forward to welcoming you the next time a Bajan vacation is being planned thanks again

Thank you so much for your review of my winter home - and for your confirmation that we do state the fact that it is my home, and not a smart rental. I very much appreciate your taking the time from your busy schedule to write, and we look forward to welcoming you back at some time if another Bajan vacation is in your future plans. Thank you again

Thank you so much Anna for writing such a glowing and lovely review for me! - I really appreciate it! Other people rely on previous guests to tell them how it is - and that we tell the truth about our location etc. So good of you to find the time to write Thanks again

Thank you so much for writing the review - - (we know it takes time from your busy schedule and we really do appreciate it) - It does reassure other potential visitors when someone writes that it was exactly as described! - We are delighted that you had a great time and were thrilled that you chose our home for your "special birthday holiday"! We, along with the rest of our "team", look forward to welcoming you back when you can manage another precious week away together ! - Thanks again for writing, D&G

What a lovely review Melissa. thank you so much for taking the time from your busy schedule to write this..... it is very much appreciated. It is so helpful to future guests to read a review that lets them know that our listing is accurate. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay, and look forward to welcoming you again if and when you' re considering another Bajan vacation thanks again for writing

Thank you for your feedback Sarah, I am saddened that you were disappointed with your stay in condo #1. Please note that my listing on vrbo specifies that it is not a "smart rental", but my genuine winter home, so I regret that my home did not please your completely. I did check in with Pat who is the property manager, and she informed me that " Your guests have been very happy, no problems and I believe they will come to PBC again." The one house rule I wish you had followed was to notify Pat if there were any issues - such as deficient housekeeping - it is up to Pat, as the manager, to supervise the maid. Once again please accept my regrets at your disappointment... I hope your next Bajan vacation is what you anticipate.

thank you for your glowing review of my winter home. I appreciate your taking time from your busy schedule to write. thank you

Thank you for your feedback on my winter home. I am sorry that you were disappointed, but as I've mentioned, this is Not a smart rental - this is normally where I live, and the only reason it was available, was my hurried repatriation in March 2019, and my inability to travel since. I will contact my maid and request a more thorough cleaning (she has been with me for many years and I have never had a previous complaint about cleanliness) so thank you for your feedback. I am pleased that you enjoyed the spectacular view - it is without question the best view in the Holetown area.

thank you so much for writing such a lovely review of my home Denise,... I really appreciate the time you've taken to share with others just how unique my home is..... its location. its wonderful newly enlarged beach (thank you Mother Nature) and its proximity to all those places that make a holiday "just right" My apologies for a tardy response -- but last winter was difficult for me, (loosing my husband) thank you once again for your kindness, and I look forward to welcoming you back at some time when it's time for another Barbados holiday.... best regards,.Dayle

Thank you Steve for the glowing review of my winter home, (apologies for my tardy response, but VRBO neglected to send it to me!) Yes, the TV does work, but who wants to watch when the view is so glorious! so glad that Pat and the team looked after you well., we will be happy to welcome you back for any future Bajan Vacation! thanks so much again for writing, it does help future guests to have confidence. Cheers, Dayle

Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to write this lovely review of our home, it is so helpful to other visitors to have a first hand account of your stay and it is kind of you to "share" your trip experiences. . So pleased to hear that the weather was cooperative, and yes, the sea is always incredibly warm at this time of year - (it is one of the benefits of a September trip, but sorry that there were some restaurants closed, however as you say, they also want a holiday!) Once again thank you for writing, it is very much appreciated and we look forward to welcoming you back for some future Bajan holiday.

Thank you for your kind words Cajun Canuk visitors. So pleased everything was the way you wanted it to be. Thanks also for your extra efforts in getting this review published - we know it was a trial!!! - We look forward to welcoming you again any time - and we know how our manager also looks forward to seeing you again. It is so helpful when guests share their views with others. Makes new visitors comfortable in trusting their stay in a strange place - it is very reassuring to learn others have enjoyed their stay in #1! Thanks again. D&G

Hi Deanna I am horrified and shocked by your review, as a conscientious host I wrote to you on Aug.4 and said "Pat is my substitute when I am off island, so if any little thing is amiss, **please let Pat know: "* . as I am aware that occasionally something can go wrong, so I checked with Pat during your stay and Pat informed me that everything was fine as you had not contacted her! - I have researched why there were no amenities, why there was only one towel each? - None of this is normal - If you had notified Pat she would have immediately offered you as many towels as you wished for, and rectified all deficiencies and seen they were promptly fixed. Apparently my maid Roz was away on vacation and a new girl Sandra, was filling in. My apologies for her lack of understanding what I require for my guests!(she will not be rehired in future!) I do not advertise a fully aircon unit (only the bedroom) but as the condo is situated in the path of the Tradewinds, there is excellent cross ventilation during the daytime from leaving the doors open and the gates locked so that any thing wet pegged to the back gate dries within one hour (and by adjusting the louvers on the windows and the back door - it is normal for the living room to remain at a pleasant temp. - not too warm, . plus there are tower fans and ceiling fans which regulate the cooling! Pat would have shown you if you had let her know. As the fridge is *brand new*, you were the first guests to use it, so I am surprised you think it is "old" Thank you for your feedback, and I have contacted Pat so that any deficiencies are taken care of and no further guests are disappointed. Again my sincere regrets that my home did not live up to your expectations.

How kind of you to write a review Lindsey, it is very much appreciated. It is always a great help to other visitors when they can read a review from someone who has actually spent time in the condo, especially understanding that one can truly be only a few minutes at most from all the bars and restaurants in the "trendy" 1st and 2nd street area of Holetown, but one never hears a sound from them, only the swish of the waves lapping on the beach. We are really pleased to know that you and your friends had a grand time and look forward to returning. We wil look forward to welcoming you back. Thanks again for taking the time to write. Dayle and George
