We had a lovely time on the lake. The house was clean and spacious and we had everything we needed to enjoy our little nook of Lake Lure - pool noodles, canoe, and several kayaks made it easy to jump right in! Kitchen was well stocked for meals and Chimney Rock was an easy 10m drive away.

We and our adult children and their spouses spent several days enjoying this beautiful home and its surroundings. The lake house was well stocked with anything we needed. All necessary equipment was provided for kayak or canoe trips. The basement game room provided many options for fun! Parking was adequate for several vehicles. We will definitely look into staying again if we visit Lake Lure in the future.

What a great place to bring the family and for the kiddos! Would love to come back in summer when the water level is back up! Wonderful to see Lake Lure coming back strong! Beautiful house in a beautiful area. So much to do and so cozy to come back to when you are done.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful log cabin! The quiet cove was perfect for relaxing, and the swimming was amazing—it truly is a swimmer's paradise. The cabin was warm, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great family vacation.The kids absolutely loved the game room, which kept them entertained for hours, and we enjoyed spending time together on the lake. Bob was an outstanding host—friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed.It was also great to visit the Chimney Rock and Lake Lure area. While the community is still recovering, it's inspiring to see the resilience of the local people, and we were happy to support the area during our visit.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful lakeside getaway!

Everything was great. The kitchen had everything we needed. The basement was a lot of fun for our family. We highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The cabin is in a great location on a quiet cove of Lake Lure that's excellent for swimming, kayaking, etc. In addition to being in a great spot on the lake it's also in a great spot in-town - close to both the grocery store but also downtown Lake Lure, and Chimney Rock. The cabin also has a game room that's great for families with kids. There are also excellent kayaks and a canoe for use with the property.The cabin is cozy and well-looked after, and had everything we needed for an unforgettable stay. We didn't have any issues but in communicating with the owner he was very responsive and I'm sure if we did need anything he would have taken care of it quickly.I can't recommend this property highly enough!

VRBO host was wonderful! Very responsive and gave value pricing for the area that was devastated by Helene. Sent my parents as an anniversary gift trip and Bob helped me talk through accommodations for them! Lovely - cozy cabin with reastauants nearby.

Bob was wonderful to work with throughout our rental process. He was super responsive and helpful. There were clear checkout instructions left at the house so we didn’t have to wonder about any details we were responsible for. The house was well equipped for entertaining two teen girls when we encountered a rainy afternoon. Plenty of fun options in the game room on the lower level. One detail that might be helpful is to know that the lower level of the house can only be accessed by the exterior stairs. We thought we would be able to walk down from inside the top floor, but you need to go out the front door and down the stairs to enter the basement level. Wasn’t really an issue for us, but it is worth noting.Lovely weekend at this cabin directly on the lake. We were so happy to see Lake Lure back in beautiful shape once again after the devastation from Helene.

Wonderful log cabin in a cove with everything you could want or need for a perfect getaway!! Highly recommend, host was super helpful as was Lake Lure Adventures coordinating a boat for our stay!

Wonderful house!

Despite the lake being empty, we enjoyed our stay in the house. It was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. We will have to come back when the lake is full!
