Dit charmante Victoriaanse huis met 2 verdiepingen uit 1895 ligt in het hart van het centrum van Spearfish, op loopafstand van winkels, entertainment en restaurants. 360 ° uitzicht op de toppen van de Queen City is te zien rondom het grote terrein met toegang tot alle activiteiten die Black Hills het hele jaar door te bieden heeft; cultuur / geschiedenis, wandelen, fietsen, varen, kamperen, 4-wheeling, skiën, sneeuwschoenwandelen, lef en site zien. De grote tuin en buitenruimte is ideaal voor familiebijeenkomsten.

Gezellig in dit 4 slaapkamers, 2 badkamers huis met 10 voet plafonds, open haarden, hardhouten vloeren, prachtige pocket deuren, een klauw voet bad en grote kamers voor entertainment. Het huis heeft plint verwarming en is centraal voorzien van airconditioning. Een onlangs gerenoveerde, grote keuken met bakstenen oven is perfect voor het bereiden van maaltijden uitgerust met gasfornuis, oven, koelkast, magnetron en vaatwasser.

De eerste verdieping heeft een keuken, eetkamer, den, woonkamer en ligbad. De bovenverdieping heeft vier slaapkamers (3 koninginnen, 1 volledige) en complete badkamer met douche. De veranda heeft schommelstoelen en de tuin is perfect voor kinderen om te rennen en spelen met een groot terras en vuurplaats aan de achterkant van het huis. Parkeren is mogelijk op een eigen oprijlaan en op straat.

Huur 's nachts of voor de week. Dit huis is beschikbaar voor de legendarische Sturgis Motorcycle Rally !!! Slechts 17 mijl van Sturgis, SD en 12 mijl van het historische Deadwood, SD is het het perfecte toegangspunt voor de activiteiten van een week.

Nice home base for a Black Hills vacation

Good location, quiet, nicely furnished. Close to Spearfish Canyon. Downtown Spearfish is a block or two away. Makes a great home base for a Black Hills vacation.

A truly wonderful home in the Black Hills

Just returned from a 3-night stay at the Haught House. Each room of this older home was updated and beautifully decorated. The home was as comfortable as if it was our own personal residence. We enjoyed our mornings on the front porch and our evenings on the back patio. The location is perfect, just a few blocks from the interstate, and only 2 blocks from main street downtown. When we return to the Black Hills next year we will definitely be staying at the Haught House.

Beautiful home in perfect location. Owners went out of their way to have everything we needed during the stay. Perfect house for a group of 8. Nice front porch and back fire pit area. Close to many bars and restaurants. Enjoyed it!!

Best location and great host

We came to Spearfish for a bike race and this was the perfect location. Plenty of hot water for hot showers after a dusty bike race. Melissa was so helpful and answered all our questions (so happy we got to meet you). I would highly recommend this house.

An older but comfortable home.

It was obvious that much attention was given to detail to make our stay comfortable. There were fresh flowers on the counter and travel sized bottle of shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, and toothpaste. There were plenty of fluffy white towels and a new bag of coffee for the Bun coffee maker. The kitchen was recently remodeled and the decor throughout was very welcoming. My only frustrations were those associated with an old house, like squeaky floors and inadequate wiring in the upstairs bathroom. Overall, I would recommend this house.

Fantastic Property in the Heart of Spearfish

We had a great time staying at the Haught House! So close to everything (we were in town for the Dakota 5.0 bike race) and plenty of great space to relax and recover. The house is very well kept and exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much!

Nice place

Nice place, very clean and functional. Did not experience the great communication I read about in other reviews. Booked pretty last minute (4 days in advance) and despite initial email accepting our stay request, heard nothing else in regards to check in instructions. Had to contact VRBO customer service to help get the information we needed. We have stayed at many VRBO properties before, and have never felt "strange" about it. This home was different as all the owners personal items were there, closets full of clothes. Just wasn't what we were used to. On our last night, storms caused electricity to go out early in the morning. No access to basement to be able to reset the breaker. Text to owner was not responded to for several hours.

Awesome!

The house is spacious, comfortable and very clean. The location couldn't be much better for getting to any of the shops, restaurants and coffee shops in downtown by foot. Melissa was extremely responsive to all my emails and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this house.

So Lovely

This home was exactly what we were looking for. We stayed here for a long weekend and were so pleased. I loved waking up and walking to the coffee shops, just a few blocks away. My kids really enjoyed the back yard basketball hoop (and the video game console). The home is full of character and charm. We really appreciated the decor and layout of the space. Job well done. I just can't say enough good things about our time spent here. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. Hope to be back next year.

Wonderful Home in the Black Hills

Wonderful stay in one of the most beautiful homes in Spearfish. This home has a great location to allows for easy access to everything in Spearfish and the Black Hills. The home is tastefully decorated, very cozy, and extremely comfortable. The owners are delightful and accommodating. This home is the best vacation rental in Spearfish!!

Wonderful Home!

Our family stayed at the Haught House in May for three nights, and we were very pleased with the time we spent there. Unfortunately, our trip to South Dakota was for a sad event, but staying in the Haught House, rather than motels, allowed our family to be together during this difficult time. As other reviewers have said, Haught House has so much warmth and character. Melissa and her family made sure that we had everthing we needed. I would highly recommend this property.

Fabulous Home!

The Haught House was a beautiful old home with so much character! We loved how it was decorated, furnished and meticulously prepared for our stay. We had a large group of people in the house and noise was a huge concern because there were sleeping babies upstairs. The plaster walls made the house virtually soundproof and each room downstairs had a huge door that shut and made it possible for everyone to have a quiet place when needed. We loved our stay and found the owner's very nice and accommodating. We will definitely return!

Returning to visit old friends in Spearfish

My family and I recently spent a week in Spearfish enjoying the amazing scenery and easy access to biking/hiking trails in the Black Hills. I was looking for a unique place to stay that could easily accommodate 5 people and that was centrally located to the shops, restaurants and parks in Spearfish. I could not have found a location more charming or ideally suited for us than the Haught house. The location was perfect and the house was adorable! If you are looking for a charming Victorian home with all of the modern conveniences that is being lovingly restored by its owners than this is the place for you. There is a terrific patio area on the front deck and in the back with a grill that made it easy to enjoy family time together. The shower was hot and had great water pressure (most welcome after spending hours on the bike trails) and the air conditioning was the best I have seen in an older home. Melissa knew we had two older dogs that we were concerned about leaving in a kennel so she made a special exception and allowed us to bring them. Well, it turns out that there is a dog park one block over from the Haught house and we visited it several times a day. Our dogs thought they were in dog heaven! Our hosts were very helpful and went out of there way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We were already familiar with the area but Melissa left us some great visitor information and promotions. Overall, this was an outstanding experience that I highly recommend over staying in area hotels. Enjoy your visit to Spearfish!

Spearfish and the Black Hills are perfect for year round traveling and our home is warm, cozy and inviting no matter the season. There are few places on earth as breathtaking as the Black Hills and we are grateful everyday that we get to call it home. We hope you enjoy it's beauty as much as we do.

My ultimate favorite features of our home are the huge and fabulous pocket doors in the living room, the beautiful oak staircase and the claw-foot tub that is perfect for soaking and reading a good book. Its location downtown means that you can walk or bike anywhere in a matter of minutes. We love that we can head to the coffee shop, wine bar, restaurant or grocery store in minutes and then right back home to sit on the beautiful deck and enjoy the views.
