We all loved the cottage. It was clean, laid out well and the host thought of anything we might need for our stay. The house was beautifully furnished and had a cozy living area to relax in front of the stone fireplace. The cottage was perfect to use as our base to explore the area or to just stay in, relax and visit on a rainy day.

Thank you Valerie! I so appreciate that you and your guests left the house in impeccable condition and were such a pleasure to host. And, your honest feedback about the TV is truly appreciated. The local custom-built TV cabinet limits the size of the TV to 32". I'll have to look at options. If we get a big screen, I'll be in touch! By the way... I'll be cheering for the Raven's this entire season! :)

This house was lovely. Very clean, well equipped and charmingly decorated. We had everything we could have needed and more. The host, Beth, was extremely cordial and answered emails promptly. Quiet neighborhood as well. Close enough to activities but far enough away to be peaceful. Would highly recommend for a quiet getaway.

Lovely Laurel Highlands Cottage

This property is an excellent base for exploring Fallingwater and the surrounding natural areas. Beth was an extraordinary host, providing extensive notes about the house,, local outdoor activities, and area restaurants and resources. The house itself was well appointed, with a fully outfitted kitchen, comfortable living and sleeping spaces, and a basement utility room with W/D. We had everything we needed for our stay, and would happily have stayed longer!

Our second visit this year to this exceptional rental property! This is a charming craftsman style home with well appointed amenities throughout. The furniture is beautiful. On a scale of 1-10, the cleanliness rates a 15! The neighborhood is quiet and we enjoyed our evenings relaxing on the deck. Great location for cyclist who enjoy day trips on the GAP. They don't come better than this one!

We've stayed in VRBOs from coast to coast over the past 10+ years and this set a new standard for the best. Communication with the owner was easy and clear from the beginning through the stay. Beth provided a ton of information and recommendations about the area prior to arrival allowing us to plan a fantastic week. Fernwalk was sparkling clean upon arrival and it was furnished with everything and more. When, not if, we return to this beautiful area of Pennsylvania, we know we will be staying at Fernwalk. Treat yourself to a stay here!
