Redwood National Park ligt op 25 mijl naar het zuiden, de beroemde Rouge-rivier en Gold Beach ligt op 25 mijl naar het noorden. Rainbow Rock Ranch ligt twee mijl ten noorden van de stad Brookings. Dichtbij maar een wereld weg. Het pand heeft veel wilde dieren te bekijken, herten, wilde kalkoenen en meer vogelsoorten dan u kunt tellen. Er zijn mogelijkheden om walvissen te spotten en tal van met bloemen omzoomde wandelingen op slechts een paar minuten rijden. Als je van de natuur houdt, is dit de perfecte plek om te ontspannen met een goed boek of film; een rustige, comfortabele en charmante sfeer. Brookings-Harbor stad ligt op een paar minuten rijden, met zijn vele visrestaurants en varen, leuke winkels en antiquing. Het huis met 2 verdiepingen biedt uw 3 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Hoofdslaapkamer en badkamer bevinden zich op het hoogste niveau en hebben een kingsize bed met schuifdeur naar het uitgestrekte terras waar u uw ochtendkoffie kunt nemen, achterover kunt leunen, ontspannen en uitzicht op de oceaan kunt hebben! Op de tweede verdieping vindt u 2 slaapkamers en een badkamer. 1 kamer heeft een koningin en de andere heeft 2 tweelingen. 4 VOLWASSENEN LIMIET. GEEN internet / wifi

Truly a special place!

Such a lovely home. Very relaxing and peaceful. Possibly the best cleaned home we’ve ever rented, and (unlike most rentals) the kitchen was well organized and stocked to actually cook full meals. Great birdwatching from the back porch with morning coffee. Nice to be away from town and highway, yet still able to see the ocean and just a short drive to everything.

Peaceful

This is our second stay (away from the Arizona heat) and we loved how peaceful it was right in the forest. Each morning coffee on the desk was so lovely with the marine layer rolling in. Seeing the deer and turkey in the area made us feel part of nature. The close location to the redwood forest and ocean/beach was perfect. Thank you for sharing this amazing home. We will be back.

Wonderful Visit

We had a fantastic time. The house is absolutely wonderful - exceeded our expectations. All the rooms were great, and the deck is amazing! We went to visit our daughter and her husband, who stayed with us at the house. They were our tour guides on a jet boat ride, a visit to a lighthouse, and of course the giant redwoods. In the evenings, the house was perfect for just relaxing and enjoying each others' company. If we're fortunate enough to be able to return, we'll definitely try to re-book.

Serene Getaway Close to Nature

Our recent stay at this beautiful property was everything we could have hoped for and more. Nestled in a private, quiet neighborhood, the home offered a unique blend of seclusion and accessibility. Although it wasn't directly on the ocean, one window provided us with a stunning view of the ocean over the trees, a serene backdrop for our mornings and evenings. The house itself was a delight, with bright, open spaces that gave our group plenty of room to relax and unwind. It was evident that thought had gone into making the space welcoming and comfortable for guests, with all the amenities we needed for a perfect stay. One of the reasons we chose this location was its proximity to the redwood forests. Being so close to such majestic nature while having a cozy, spacious place to come back to was the best of both worlds. The peace and quiet of the neighborhood, combined with the home's open and inviting layout, made our stay exceptionally relaxing. We appreciated the balance of being able to explore the great outdoors by day and retreat to our private haven by evening. We are truly grateful to the owners for sharing their home with us. It was an ideal setting for creating lasting memories. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a serene getaway close to nature. Thank you for a wonderful experience; we hope to return in the future.

Home in the woods

This is a lovely house in the hills above Brookings with a beautiful view. The deck is great, and we loved watching the deer. It's a great location!

Brookings is lovely

We really enjoyed the home. It is in a beautiful location and the view is spectacular. Not alot of restaurants in Brookings but there are places up the coast. Harris beach is beautiful and a great place to relax. We hiked all over the coast and then went down to Jedidiah Smith State Park, only a 30 minute drive! The redwoods are stunning. Definitely would stay here again!

Great Place for Mini High School Reunion (3 old friends)

We had a wonderful time in Brookings Oregon and much of it was due to this lovely VRBO! Everything was clean. The kitchen was well stocked. (Totally impressed they had Ziploc plastic bags - really helpful for leftovers.) We enjoyed the balcony (most of which was covered)! Can't recommend this place highly enough!!!

Brookings Getaway

The house is very remote. The deck is absolutely wonderful. We did not get to see much of the ocean view because it was very foggy much of the time we were there, but the time we did see it while having a glass of wine was beautiful. The house was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked, which we appreciated because we enjoy having breakfast at home as well as some dinners. Enjoyed seeing deer roam the property and listening to the birds. I was impressed that the owners had made a good attempt to fix anything that was noted by guests before us. The only suggestion I have is to have some Keurig pods available for the Keurig machine in the morning. Our stay was very enjoyable.

Good location for nature lovers

Loved seeing wildlife around the property and the fact that there weren't many people around. Pricing felt a little steep based on a couple of factors but this place was a little nicer than most of the other offerings in Brookings.

At One With Nature

This property was well appointed and convenient to get to. The home was clean and relaxing. The deck was my favorite spot to start and end the day! It is literally minutes away from some of the most beautiful places in the country.

Ants! Dirty! Unfinished! Noisy!

Don’t expect peace and quiet or any kind of relaxing to occur. The next lot over is under construction which may be what is stirring up the ants I found all over the house. Also found pieces of trash in both bathroom showers, unwashed dishes in the dishwasher, broken garbage disposal and a complete lack of privacy. When all of these issues were brought to the attention of the owner/property manager, I was to blame for not addressing it sooner. Don’t waste your time and money!

Clean, scenic, tranquil!

We have an elderly family member who lives in the area, and family needed a place to stay while we dealt with family issues. Managment was extremely helpful as our dates changed with family circumstances. The home was as pictured, extremely comfortable, and very clean. They have two types of coffee makers and we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet, the view, the deer, and an assortment of birds.

Mountain Respite

My husband and I stole a long weekend getaway and we were blessed with the sun shining, great food, and a beautiful place to stay. We had a marvelous time both relaxing and playing cards and hiking around the beach. Wonderful stay!

Excellent home with excellent privacy!

Enjoyed our stay so much! Very clean with excellent beds! Large back deck. All forested area with distant view of ocean only if not foggy! Saw deer! Loved the privacy of the place!
