Lovely house

Great house. Accommodating for our large group and has a wonderful location right along the sand. Could use some better kitchen utensils/larger pots. Overall a great stay for us. Thank you!

Nice poace

This place was a perfect location and great for large parties! The views were amazing! Doors connect through the back which was nice to not have to go downstairs sometimes. Definitely wish it was cleaner!

Love the Bay side vs Ocean

We’ve been vacationing in Mission/Pacific Beach for 10 years. This was our first time on the bay side rather than ocean. We liked it so much more! Everything is walkable and felt a bit more quiet than the hussle of the ocean side boardwalk. The house was wonderful with great views, nice boardwalk and sunrise views. Check in process was a breeze a communication with the host was easy. Will absolutely stay here again. Absolutely recommend!!!

Vacation

Some issues. Showers could be improved. Not enough kitchen towels. Says 4 balconies but only 2 of any use. Great location and good set up for multiple family vacation

Family reunion 10 adults/6 children (8 mos to 15 yrs old) renting two side-by-side units. Glad that we booked this place? yes. Would we stay here again? I would not be concerned about renting here again. Communication was excellent. Location was excellent for our group. We were glad that we stayed on the bay side and not the ocean side. For the grandkids, they had an absolute blast. For the adults, it was less stressful. We did take the three minute walks over to the ocean side several times. But that is compared to the many hours spent in the bay side in the sand, on kayaks, playing games, etc. Most times, there were less than a ten people on the beach outside the units and never more than a couple of dozen, almost all of whom were parents with children. The older kids could go out by themselves and we could watch from the deck. This was the most important criteria for success for our trip, even if not everything in the units was perfect. The unit were clean and well-stocked. Some areas had been updated. The other areas were fine, but could use some updating – paint, doors, etc. Floor-to-ceiling mirrors make the online photos of rooms seem larger than actual. Non-master bedrooms/ bathrooms were OK. Bedrooms with twin beds are a little small for two adults to share. The underground parking is tough and dark but functional. While we were initially put off by the garage and some minor cosmetic maintenance, we were very pleased with everything and the family was thrilled.

Roll out to the sand from the front door!!!

We rented 2 of these townhouses, both were spacious, well appointed, and easily accommodated all 14 of our family members. Having the sandy beach right out our front door was the best thing for us. We didn't have any issues (except an SUV will not fit in the garage, only 6ft of clearance) but we knew that upfront. We highly recommend to other large family groups & hope to rent these units again in 2021.

Great property for large family vacation.

Nice to be right next door and have 2 kitchens , beautiful views of the bay and walking accessibility to so many restaurants and activities. Had a couple maintenance issues but both were taken care of in a timely fashion. Short Uber rides to most San Diego attractions. Wonderful time with family!

Great location but over-priced for the quality of property. Issues with plumbing, refrigerator,etc

Plumbing issues, refrigerator broke down, all beds except MBR were thin mattresses and hard, jacuzzi did not operate. Maintenance was responsive but totally disrupted 4 day stay.

Our beach home has amazing reviews, and we take pride in maintaining our homes at a very high standard. Appliance maintenance and common plumbing issues were addressed as soon as we were notified. All our mattresses are new and our team immediately showed the guest the Jacuzzi operation (the button wasn’t pushed hard enough!). We appreciate this feedback as it helps us to maintain our homes at a high level.

Wonderful Week

We spent a wonderful week in this lovely beach house. The location is superb. The house is right on the sandy bay, and we had most of our meals sitting on the sand watching our kids play in the water. The Mission Beach strand is steps from the house & bussling with beautiful people walking and biking. The houses have comfortable beds. The management company did a good job alerting us to the lower garage height, which wasn't a problem since we brought our cars (not our suv's). The houses came with beach chairs and boogie boards. Both kitchens are well equipped.

Sunrises and Coffee on the Sand

The beach house was amazing! We all really enjoyed our vacation and the time together. The house had everything we needed and more. Close to entertainment, restaurants and some nightlife. Literally the house was right on the bay and the beach being so close was wonderful. We enjoyed sunrises and coffee on the beach in the morning. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We are already planning our trip for next year! Can't wait to get back to the beach and beautiful San Diego!

2nd time did not disappoint

Thank you for the follow up email. This is the second time that we have stayed at this waterfront residence and again it did not disappoint. Last time we rented just the middle unit but this time we had 2 units as we brought another family. They both have their own balcony, the corner unit I must say has amazing views from inside. We all had a wonderful time and were able to relax and enjoy the home. Our children loved it and it was an amazing trip for the adults too, we will be back again!!!

Memorable stay

Thank you, both families really enjoyed it. We appreciate the cleanliness, and the complimentary bath soap and coffee came in very handy as we didn't have time to go to the store when we arrived. The location is unbeatable. The manager did a superb job making our stay memorable, from the activity and restaurant recommendations to the exclusive discounts (the adults loved the La Jolla Crafted wine place, we'll take advantage of the mobile message discount next time!!!).

Had a blast, A+ rating!!!

We were a bit worried about space as there were 2 extended families with 18 people total, but both townhomes were very spacious and had plenty of room for all of us. With little kids is was so nice to be on the bay, which is a bit more low key & easier to watch them play in the bay. There were plenty of sand toys and beach chairs, both kitchens were fully stocked. We enjoyed sipping wine on the balconies overlooking the relaxing water, no complaints!!!

Had a Blast!!

Fantastic place for all 16 of us. Both homes very very clean & kitchens nicely stocked. On the ground floor entry there's a hose & place to stash boogie boards & toys, which was nice as we didn't drag sand to the 2nd & 3rd floors. The bedding was top notch and all the bedrooms were a nice size, tons of closet space, and most had their own bathrooms. We didn't have any problems during our stay, but we did have questions prior to arrival & our representative was extremely helpful! The Location is a must see!!!

Nice great location beautiful views

Both units were clean and well equipped. With exception of the floors. Floors were very dirty. Soles of socks black. Understanding that this is a beach front unit, and hard to maintain I do expect moderately clean floors on arrival. Location is great. Views well worth the expense Units need some. Minor repairs Several light sockets not working did raise a concern about electrical safety Parking is provided which is great if you drive a short wheel based sedan. SUV, And longer cars will not fit in parking garage Parking lot however was an easy walk. Only one night had to park 6 blocks away, something to consider with older or handicapped clients The building was burglarized during our stay and several times had to run off people loitering. Pictures are accurate Dispute some minor problems stay was good.

Amazing place to escape the Arizona heat!

It was 115 degrees when we left Phoenix...we arrived in San Diego to a whopping 79 degrees! Besides the amazing weather & being right on the water, the two townhomes themselves were fantastic & suited all 16 of us perfect. There was plenty of space, lots of beach toys & chairs, nice & quiet/relaxing area, units were super clean, the furniture was very nice & updated, tons of kitchenware. The grandparents in our group really enjoyed sitting on the shaded balcony & watching the kids play in the 70 degree water. There are restaurants within walking distance, which made it much easier with all our kids. Overall we'd recommend it for any extended family. We appreciate the lovely stay!

Lots of Space, good location

The place is big. NOTE-- it is two 3 bedroom places that are adjacent. The only thing connecting them are back alley balconies. This was not a big deal for me, but it does feel like two separate residences when you are there (which maybe isn't a bad thing depending on your family dynamic). Very close to jet ski rental spot on the bay. About 30 yards from the Ocean side and going on the beach there (just walk west). You are central though between Mission Beach bar/restaurant area and Pacific Beach bar/restaurant area.. This is nice because you can go to either; but it's not great when on beach and have to hike a bit for food or a drink. Place was nice.. Lot's of beach toys and bath towels were a plus, nice balconies def a plus.... Zero toiletries a negative. This is a good value. If you are planning to "party" I do not recommend this spot. If you are going on a family trip, it's a great place.

Expectations Exceeded

This has been our favorite Mission Beach accommodations since we've been coming for the past 5 year. Very clean, tasteful, well furnished, and our contact Nick was very responsive. We have absolutely no negatives in any way - can't wait for next year!
