Hi Yelena, I am really glad to read that you enjoyed our cottage. Thanks so much for taking time out of your busy life to share your thoughts. We hope that you do return for a stay. It was very nice dealing with you!

Thanks for your comments. I had personally been at the house as recent as the day before you were due to enter. I had attempted to ventilate the entire house by opening the screened windows, but the breeze had stopped and conditions became still and humid. I closed up the house and ran the dehumidifier in the basement, but the coolness did not settle back into the basement. Had you called, I would have suggested the large fan I supply be run to move the air around. I am sorry if the conditions were not ideal. I had washed the bedsheets and had personally made the beds the day before your vacation started. Your comments about being told you were not to use the washer and dryer are not accurate. The online ad lists a washer and dryer as being available for use. You had written that if there was not a washer and dryer on site, was there a laundromat in the area? I replied that there was a washer and dryer on site, and that because our property had a private septic system, that laundry loads would need to be done intermittently and the clothing to be washed would be limited to laundry made dirty while on vacation. I also explained that excessive laundry use could result in the overcharging of the septic system and result in a disruption of your vacation. Glad your time away was good despite the issues you report existed. I did my best to please. I provided a check in as early as suited you on the day of your arrival at no added charge instead of requiring a check in to occur no earlier than 3 pm, and also covered the postage of items that I had shipped from the post office for you. I’m glad you were pleased with the majority of your stay with us! Take care!

Fantastic house guests! The Lears were model renters. They interacted wonderfully, were appreciative, took great care of our home, the plants, and the hummingbirds! We would love to have them return!

So glad you enjoyed the property and the service I provided you! JG and his group were appreciative, took great care of my home, and were especially understanding when an issue beyond either party’s control caused the premature end to their stay.. Be safe, men!

Thank you for the nice review! Glad you appreciated the location and cleanliness of the house, as well as my communication with you! You get a 5 star rating, too! You and your wife were a pleasure to deal with and you showed our property great respect! Thanks!
