We loved the view and location. Once we arrived we could walk everywhere rather than drive. The host was responsive and very kind.

Great place

We enjoyed staying in this place, even though it was middle of the summer, the proximity to the lake, the riverside bike paths and the coziness of the town allowed us to have a bit of a normal summer despite C19.

Great location. We could walk to the village at palisades. The location on the map isn’t quite right, but it just across from the parking lot.

Nice condo; great location

Our group of 5 (2 couples and an adult child of one couple) loved the condo. The bunk bed was a bit small for an adult but other than that the place is perfect. Short walk to lifts, shops and restaurants in Olympic Village, well-provisioned, and very clean! We would definitely stay again.

Lovely Views and Great Location

The house was well-equipped with everything we needed. Location was great, easy walk to the lifts and to restaurants. Owners were responsive and helpful with any questions we had. It was a little chilly downstairs but we just moved one of the space heaters into the living room during the day. Great layout for a family. Would definitely stay again!

Great location!

We went up to Tahoe for a weekend skiing. The location of the property was excellent and we walked to the village and ski lifts easily. Everything described on the listing was accurate and we were impressed by the quality of the kitchen utensils. Property manager was quick to respond. We had a wonderful stay and will stay there again!

Amazing Location

The location can’t be beat if you’re looking to ski at Palisdes! Had an issue with one of the toilets while we were there, so only having 1 usable toilet with 6 people was a bit of a disappointment, but otherwise the house worked out great for a family ski trip! Owner was very responsive and even sent out some winter weather tips when some pretty sizable storms came in. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for the Palisades village!

This place was so perfect! We went for the Broken Arrow Skyrace running weekend and we never had to drive. We walked back and forth from the village all weekend, which made it super easy with kids. The house also worked well for kids and adults. Great layout and size. They also communicated really well and were flexible with check in time. We come to this area a lot and I would definitely stay here again!

Awesome Location

Everything went smoothly and the lifts are a short walk. The view of the ski area is really gorgeous. The unit is a bit ‘70’s dated but very comfortable. The dishwasher is not robust even after rinsing dishes and could use an upgrade.

Great property. Great location.

Did a week ski vacation at PalisadesTahoe with my godson and family. This house was perfect for us. Easy walk to the slopes. House was well-stocked both in the kitchen and in the bedrooms. Heaters were easy to use and provided optimal comfort especially the cute little furnace in the living room. Bathroom situation worked perfectly and the living area was both spacious and comfy at the same time. Would definitely go back again.

Hike to your hearts content

From the time the property was booked, communication with the property management group was stellar. We were greeted with a condo that was so clean that you can eat off the floor. Kitchen was well equipped with good quality pots and pans, not to mention knives that are sharpened. The beds were comfortable and the living area has a spectacular view of the mountain and the village. Hiking trails were easily accessible, rafting down river is a fun activity too, Overall, outstanding,

Enjoyable Stay

We very much enjoyed the stay. Very convenient location with just a short walk to the Village at Squaw. It's a somewhat older condo, but clean and well kept. There were plenty of towels, linen, and kitchen supplies. It has a great view of the Squaw area. But, unfortunately, there was no outdoor patio furniture and a grill for us to enjoy the great view of Squaw on the outdoor deck. But, this very well could have been due to the local restrictions on having any open flames due to extreme fire danger.

great location, average accommodations.

While the location of this unit is nice, you have to access it via a steep driveway that was not plowed, making it difficult when we arrived in a storm. Typical 1970s construction which lended itself to multiple levels, (not good for those with any ailments) and the unit smelled. Other than the odor, the unit was very clean and the little pot belly stove provided great warmth. My guess is that this is a typical Tahoe condo, but for the price was not worth the stay unfortunately.

We were just there right after you and did not notice any smell or odor. This is a smoke and pet-free property, and we take pride in keeping it clean and up to date. Great little house!

Walking distance from the Village at Palisades, clean, comfortable with plenty of sleeping space. Would stay again. Hill would be pretty steep in the winter but perfect for summer. Thank you!

Great alpine condo in a beautiful location

We stayed here in the spring to ski at Palisades and lucked out in that we got 3 feet of snow while there. This was a great home to retreat to in the evenings, in a convenient location right across the main street from the resort. The views are beautiful, and the beds and fireplace are cozy; my older son loved the loft. The owner/management team was very helpful and communicative in making sure we had everything we needed. Also, the board game closet was a highlight. If you're driving in and out in winter/spring, just make sure you're a competent driver, as there is a sloped driveway that can get a bit icy.

Great Location/Some Issues with heating

Overall I really enjoyed our stay. The property is older but in a great location. Perfect for a ski weekend. We had issues with the heating in the main living room. Despite contact the property manager and owner we were unable to getting it fixed They did not come out to fix during our stay which surprised me. This meant that it was pretty cold in the main area of the condo. I would definitely stay again if this issue was addressed and would probably come again even if not fixed and just move around the provided space heaters.

End of summer family getaway

My family and I were very comfortable in this condo. Plenty of space for everyone and loved the open downstairs living area. The home had everything we needed. There's no AC but the home stays at a good temp during the day and cools down nicely at night. The Property Mgr was very communicative and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. My husband and daughter enjoyed hiking the Squaw hills right outside the condo. We were very close to Tahoe City where we made candles and went river rafting down the Truckee River. Also, loved walking and riding bikes on the near by trails along the River. We even took a drive down to South Tahoe City to enjoy some amazing views and Archery! We wished we could have stayed longer!

4th of July long weekend

Beautiful views and cozy condo. A lot of the lights are burnt out. They need to be replaced. The rental management probably doesn't realize because they only go there during the day. I had a difficult time putting the key back into the lock box and I didn't have a phone number to get in touch with anyone. Other than that it is a lovely condo. We enjoyed our stay.

Hi Lori! Thanks for letting us know about the lights. We do check them before each guests arrival but appreciate you letting us know some burned out after your stay. We have our phone number listed in the house manual and online but will work to add it to a few more spots in the home to make sure our guests can always find it. Great location

This property was perfect for me and my guests during our ski weekend. It was a bit tricky to get logistics for checking in and also it was a bit tough to actually get in the rental once we were there in the dark but once we were in, no troubles at all. Property was as described. Kitchen was fully stocked and was perfect for cooking breakfasts and dinners. Very warm and comfy beds. Great DVD selection. They do not accept service animals due to a family allergy so if you require a service animal, look elsewhere. I would come back to stay at this property again.
