This was our second stay at the property and in the future when we are in the area we hope to stay at the property again. It is clean, well appointed and extremely quiet. If anyone really wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of a hectic life stay here for a few days. Plenty of parking, everything a kitchen needs and clean.

The cabin was really cute, pictures really don't do it justification. Alison was great to work with. You really enjoyed the fire pit outside and was able to let the dogs run around. I saw on one review somebody was complaining about the trials being too far, but that wasn't an issue for us. If we plan to hit the trails on the side by side again, we would definitely stay again

This was our second time staying in this cabin and we love it! It’s very clean, roomy, and the host is phenomenal to work with! There’s plenty of room for parking. We had our truck, UTV and trailer and had plenty of room. There’s a nice patio and a camp fire area as well. We will definitely be back!!

This is an adorable, roomy cabin! It was very clean, the owner was very responsive with the few questions we had, we will definitely be back!! Nice outdoor fire pit, open concept living room and kitchen and very comfortable beds. I highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in the area!!

We’ve stayed in Papa Opelt’s cabin multiple times and we just love it! It’s always clean, roomy, and the host is always extremely responsive. There’s plenty of parking if you have a trailer/UTV or multiple vehicles. The living room and kitchen is open concept with a bathroom and 3 bedrooms. This is our favorite place to stay when we head to town. There’s a nice fire pit and deck as well. We had 2 other couples with us this time and they all agreed it was super nice and perfect for the 6 of us. We will be back…again

Great short stay!

Great experience at a cozy little cabin with modern amenities and a nice place to be able to have your dogs with you. Great hosts and a nice quiet spot!

Perfect for our family of four. We brought our UTV’s, and the house was in a good location for riding trails and roads. Plenty of parking for our truck/trailer. Convenient keypad access to enter the house. Bathroom updated. Kitchen table large enough to do a puzzle we brought. Beds comfy. Nice to have the washer/dryer. Didn’t have time to use the fire pit or grill. Wish we could have stayed longer! Host quickly answered any questions we had prior to booking!

We stayed here for a hunting trip and it was exactly what we needed. Clean and plenty of room for 5 guys. We hope to be back again

The house was very clean and in a great location for us to ride SXS. Plenty of room for parking. There’s a fire pit with chairs. The home was also well stocked with basic essentials. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Experience

My friends and I rented this cabin for trail riding the cabin was clean and had everything needed to cook, clean and do laundry. Very cute and the perfect place to stay out in the country!

UTV get away

Property and location was perfect for our UTV trip and trail riding. Home was very clean and the management responded in a timely manner with our questions. We will definately rent this place again if it is available!

Cozy Little House

We had a real good time staying at the house. It was nice to have it secluded and away from everybody and traffic. The house was neat and clean. The only little issue was that the bathroom could use some updating. Other than that everything worked and we were real happy with our stay.

UTV trails are 45 minutes away. Granted, roads are open to UTVs, but we didn’t travel to the area to ride on roads. Property was fine, clean. Tv in living room didn’t work and that kind of spoiled our evening. Sadly, owners not in the area to come over to fix for us. Quick to respond to our texts, but Alison seemed annoyed.

I am sorry you felt that way. I felt as though we were very quick to respond to all your concerns throughout the day. Brian did offer to stop by if you needed him to it was just going to be a little later in the day. You asked to check in early, I said yes. I then got a call Friday night that you were lost on your atv's and you didn't know where the house was. I guided you back to the house very friendly. You then sent me a message early Saturday morning while i was turkey hunting with my son about your disappointment about feeling the trails were too far away, the clogged toilet and the TV not working (needed to be switched to HDMI). I was a little overwhelmed receiving a message with so many things, especially the location of the house. The house is located 10 minutes from the hwy 10 parking lot. So i was very confused, because other ATV guests have had no issue. All i said was i am a little taken back by your disappointed in where the house was located. As a vrbo guest myself, the location of the property is something i make sure i know before i book. I immediately contacted my internet provider to make sure that was the issue and the i relayed the message that they had said to us. I asked you to reach out to my husband so he could help in more detail with the toilet(just needed to be plunged) , and TV. It felt as though your disappointment in now knowing how to get on the trails or where the nearest trails were became in a disappointment for your entire stay. I really wish you could have sent me a message privately about how you felt before writing a bad review.

We found out a few hours before we were suppose to check in that the host had also booked out the house on another site for the same weekend and we wouldn't be able to stay despite booking months in advance.

I almost do not want to leave this review as we will be returning to the area and I hope that this home is available. What a fantastic place to spend a week. The home is set in the quiet county side surrounded by farms. My wife who is a "city girl" to the bone said that she has never felt more relaxed in her life the time we spent here. The home is larger feeling in person than the pictures convey. I cannot think of one thing that I would change about this home! The kitchen is well equipped. Tons of pasting. Allison communicated clearly and quickly. Five stars!!!

Communication was excellent, fully stocked kitchen, clean, and great water pressure, which is hard to find sometimes. Peaceful and private and roughly 4 miles from town which has a grocery store, restaurants, DG and gas stations. Ride trails directly from the house and a great shed to store your trailer and SXS.Noticed they cleaned with natural products which is a bonus for me.Would happily return and stay here again.
