Bij Gerrie's Place ervaart u het landelijke leven in een stedelijke omgeving. Gelegen op een Lama Ranch! Bij Gerrie's Place heb je een eigen ingang, een omheinde privétuin en een privéhuisje. We verwelkomen iedereen. Gerrie's Place is ontworpen met ADA-specificaties in gedachten. We hebben geprobeerd barrières te verwijderen en Gerries Place toegankelijker te maken. We verwelkomen ook uw goed opgevoede, huisgetrainde huisdier. Wij zijn een prachtige locatie om te dineren, sportevenementen, toeristische attracties, winkelcentra, metro en meer. Er is een cadeauwinkel op het terrein met handgemaakte lama-vezelkleden (zoals wat je in Gerrie's plaats zult gebruiken), vilten Lama-zeep (zoals wat je in Gerrie's Place gaat gebruiken) en meer aan lama's / alpaca gerelateerde items.

Gerrie's Place op een prachtige locatie voor al uw eet- en entertainmentbehoeften. Op deze alleen gereden (Mueschke Rd.), Hebben we nogal wat restaurants en bars.

Gerrie's Place ligt dicht bij Houston Premium Outlets. Er zijn andere winkellocaties .... Memorial City Mall, Willowbrook Mall, The Galleria, Old Town Spring.

Sister's Weekend 2023

Robin is the perfect host, so thoughtful! She had some great recommendations of places to visit and eat in the area and surrounding small towns. We had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend; coffee in the morning, plenty of hot water for showers, plus the bed was so comfortable, it's been awhile since I've slept that well. My sister and I enjoyed every minute, especially sitting on the porch, watching the animals throughout their day. We didn't want to leave, but felt we made new friends and will definitely return!

Cottage cuteness

This is our second time staying here and we can’t wait to come back!! Perfect lil cottage that has everything you need!! I enjoyed feeding the animals from the front porch and the overall vibe of property !! Thanks Robin for another great weekend trip!!!

Wonderful Place

The cabin was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay. Everything was extremely clean and well stocked. Wally the goat kept me company while I drank my coffee on the front porch. Will definitely return if in the area again.

Best Vrbo in Texas!!!

We have stayed in many vacation rentals but this is the best. Our short stay was awesome, peaceful & calm. Ruby & Robin are great Host. Loved listening to The Rooster in the morning & talking to Gods Creatures early in the morning. They definitely will bring joy to your heart. It’s a bit of heaven on earth. Pet friendly, very, very clean & comfortable. Will definitely keep coming, back.

This is a photo of Robin and Ruby. (Robin is in the blue dress). We have lived on the llama ranch, Figment Ranch, (where Gerrie's Place1 is) for over 35 years. Robin is a Retired Special Education Teacher and Ruby is a retired Salesman.

Gerrie was born in Denton Texas on April 22, 1966. She was a good fun-loving kid who loved sports. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from her high school. This enabled her to earn a scholarship to Texas Tech and Southwest Texas to play fast pitch softball. Here she also graduated Magna Cum Laude.

After Gerrie graduated college, she taught Adaptive Physical Education (this is Physical Education for special needs students.) While teaching, Gerrie started having symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Once her symptoms did not allow her to teach PE any longer, she moved from teaching PE to teaching Special Needs Students in the classroom. Gerrie’s MS symptoms finally got the better of her. She retired from teaching and moved to the ranch in 2004. A special home, with ADA specs – the Americans with Disabilities Act, was built for Gerrie and she lived here independently for 13 years. When she needed more care than we could provide, she moved to a local Nursing Home where she resides now and is still continuing her battle with MS.

Gerrie loved music and artwork. One of her collections was of the artist named Patrick Nagel. In fact, hanging here you will see many paintings from Gerrie’s collection. We have also provided a book about Patrick Nagel for you to read while here. It can be found in the living room in the credenza. Gerrie was also a big fan of James Dean. You will see some of his photographs in here as well.

Inside Gerrie's Place1 you will see some pictures of her. They are located in the Binder in the main room.

Gerrie is more than happy to share her home with you!
