Great family friendly home

Great place with plenty of space. Well equipped, comfy beds and close to shops and restaurants.

Would have been perfect, but...

Lovely home, good size, clean and tidy. The outdoor living area is lovely, the veggie garden is a bonus. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of cutlery, cooking utensils and crockery for a large group. The second lounge area is also good for a large group along with two televisions. Lovely easy walk to the beach and to the local shops. We were surprised to find all guest bedrooms had their wardrobe doors locked (apart from the Master Bedroom) and no drawers to put clothes in (again apart from the Master Bedroom). A 10 night stay is a long time to live out of a suitcase in my opinion. We were a group of 6 as such, an extra door key or garage remote would have been appreciated as we were not all wanting to do the same thing at the same time every day. A minor complaint which is easy enough to remedy. The bath towels provided were thread bare. I understand this may be through a cleaning / linen agency: I am not sure where the responsibility lies. Also we only had two hand towels for the 10 nights we stayed a few more would have been appreciated. We were most disappointed that the property was not completely as advertised. On arrival we discovered that there was no spa pool as advertised on the amenities list for this property. We deliberately selected a house with a spa via the search engine on the VRBO website. We contacted the owner who advised us that there had been no spa for 10 months. All she would do was apologise and would not come to the party with some recompense. As soon as we contacted her, she immediately changed the listing. Fortunately we had taken screenshots. We paid top dollar for this house for a 10 night stay. Which would have been worth every penny if the spa pool was there. I understand this was an oversight on the owners’ part, however it was expected that we would foot the bill for the mistake. She became very defensive, petty and vindictive. She began to throw totally inaccurate and false allegations our way 3 weeks after our departure as we persisted with efforts to seek some redress. She seemed incapable of admitting that she was at fault and refused to negotiate. We finally achieved some small success through the letting agents VRBO, but this was extremely difficult.

Perfect bach!

We had such a lovely time in the house! All of our family members liked it! Everybody had its own room, 2 bathrooms, big family space (kitchen, 2 living rooms). Everything was beautifully decorated, very clean and nice. Even Netflix was available. Big terrace, everything simply top! Uncomplicated check in and check out. The host was very attentive, good communication. We highly recommend this house ! Hope we can come again!

Beautiful Stay

Kim was really accommodating! Some small improvements could be to add tea or coffee for the machine, extra toilet paper - maybe even towels for the spa - would have made this stay go a long way; we were lucky to have come prepared. Although the on-property cameras weren't a problem, it did take us by surprise. However all in all, we really enjoyed our time away in a beautiful, peaceful, clean and warm home :)

A memorable stay

My friend group and I got turned down from a few Bach’s due to our age… However Kim was willing to give us a go, and for that we are so grateful. Kims house made our holiday more memorable as there is no better environment than a gorgeous home to stay in! The house is warm and welcoming, a lovely kitchen to cook in, a spa to end the day with, a bbq for family and friends. Everything was spot on! 10/10 would recommend this house :) great location too.
