Great place to stay with kids- plenty to do at the house and not far from fun things in Asheville. Kitchen and bathrooms have essentials, and really appreciated having coffee without having to shop for it right away after traveling. Would recommend a hike at DuPont forest followed by apple picking/lunch at Jeter mountain orchard!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The home had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The yard was perfect for our dog and my teens wished they were younger when they saw the fun slides and playhouse!

This house was even better in person! Spacious house with big bedrooms. Great location in close proximity to many trails, beautiful views, wildlife, and plenty of things to do in Asheville. We especially enjoyed the fenced in yard which made bringing the pup along that much easier too. Would recommend this property if you’re looking for a place to stay in the area!

A unique and peaceful property! It was a good home base for us to venture out for hikes as well as downtown spots. Our pups especially loved the outside space.

This was our 2nd time staying at the property and it was wonderful! Plenty of space, completely fenced in yard for our doggo to roam freely, gorgeous mountain views. I can't recommend this property enough! We went for first year UNCA activities and we will book with them everytime if its available. And the owners are wonderful and responded immediately.

This was the cutest house! It was so charming and my wife had fun exploring the space. We didn't have kids with us, but the house was totally kid friendly with games and toys. We did have our fur babies with us and the fenced in yard was great. It was so nice to be able to let them run around without a leash. The hot tub was also fantastic. Being in the woods, away from the lights and sounds of the city or suburbs was amazing. My wife woke up in the middle of the night and it was so dark, she thought she'd gone blind! We would absolutely recommend this property for a relaxing getaway.

A great location and the host was very helpful including excellent restaurant recommendations so close to the house. Sitting amongst the woods the house is a wonderful place to relax.

We had a wonderful time! The rooms were spacious, we loved using the hot tub and the grill. Views are beautiful and I enjoyed exploring the mountains to sea section that runs right along the property. Easy to get to downtown or Sierra Nevada from house

So glad you enjoyed your stay and we are so happy the trail is open again. It was completely obliterated by Helene, but our neighbor spent a lot of time and effort removing all the downed trees and rebuilding the trail.

Property was awesome and perfect for anyone bringing a pet. It's an easy drive to downtown, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet!

Thanks so mich for your wonderful review! Our favorite aspect of the property is the peaceful natural setting. Our neighbor has almost complere rebuilding the access trail to the Blue Rodge Parkway/Mountains to Sea trail.

Close enough to town and anything you’d need but also feel like you’re in the county. Comfortable beds and places to lounge. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.

This is my second time staying at this property. It’s cozy and comfortable. Plenty of room and space for families and dogs. Great location near downtown Asheville, in a peaceful setting with beautiful sunrise views.

Very nice house to stay in at a great location. Great hiking in all directions. Tucked away in the hills but close enough to the city.
