Exactly what we expected! Cozy house tucked in the mountains. Perfect distance from Helen and all of the Oktoberfest fun, along with many trails.

Fabulous birthday girls weekend! Beautiful chalet. Clean and comfy. Beds were so comfortable. Hot tub was so relaxing! Location was so convenient and close to everything! Attentive host. Just love this place nestled in 10 acres of tranquility.Can’t wait to come back.

The home is beautiful and had all the necessities provided. The beds are comfy, the hot tub was clean and ready to go on arrival. I definitely recommend.

Mountain Laurel Chalet is the perfect place to stay if you like peace and quiet but want to be close to all the excitement of Helen. Unicoi State Park is also nearby offering fishing, swimming, kayaking and hiking trails if you’re an outdoorsman. The hot tub was wonderful to get in at night after all the walking I did at Helen shopping and eating. I plan to return to Mountain Laurel Chalet this Fall to see the leaves. I loved my trip and highly recommend Mountain Laurel Chalet.

This home was so nice we will definitely rebook another time. Beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious and clean. Plenty of space for everyone. It is beautiful place, very private yet easy to get too. Near all the fun places Helen has to offer. The kitchen was well stocked with all the needed cooking supplies and the hot tub was stellar. The front porch has a very nice gas grill and seating for everyone (6 of us). We actually saw a small black bear and a deer at the end of our driveway just meandering along through the forest. On the way in the Mountain View‘s are just beautiful. There’s a small trail in the backyard for those who want to venture off into the Chattahoochee Forest. The driveway was very easy to maneuver very short and easy to turn vehicles around, and you could fit numerous vehicles here. We absolutely love it here!!!!

The cabin was amazing. Sits off the main road a good ways and surrounded by woods. Inside was really nice and had everything you will need. Hot tub was really nice having a cover over it. I will definitely book this place again.

Great communication with host. The Chalet was beautifully decorated for Christmas , had everything we needed , really enjoyed the wood burning stove . Location was great and private but not too far from town . Already booked another trip to stay here ! Perfect little family get away !

Everything was great. The Chalet was perfect for my sister's week. It was very comfortable and homey. The town of Helen, the nearby falls and parks were equally fun and delightful. No complaints. The whole trip was awesome!

Beautiful home that met all of our needs. It was very clean, although I had to knock down several spider webs, with spiders, on steps up to the house.

The garden spiders outside the house this time of year are plentiful, and we have the same problem in our suburban home. We have quarterly pest control, but that’s often not enough to control a large yard area, unfortunately.

Anniversary Trip

Repeat visit to Mountain Laurel Chalet/Sautee/Helen for anniversary. Awesome area with lots to do. Mountain Laurel Chalet is a great “home away from home”, and the owner is extremely nice, accommodating, and excellent with communication.

A hidden gem

My summary is that this home was perfect for us. Everything we needed was provided. This place is so quiet, all you heard are the birds. You are close to water falls, Helen, Cleveland and the country side if you just want to sightsee.
