Azure Apartment bevindt zich in de residentie Kalamar Meltem Apartments. De appartementen zijn uitstekend gelegen aan een rustige weg in de vredige baai van Kalamar in Kalkan. Het boetiekcomplex van tien particuliere appartementen bestaat uit twee gebouwen gescheiden door twee grote, zout water, infinity zwembaden, verbonden door een waterval. Er zijn grote gemeenschappelijke terrassen, aangelegde tuinen en een barbecueplek met ligstoelen, tafels en parasols waar u kunt zonnebaden, ontspannen en entertainen. Het zwembad faciliteiten omvatten WiFi, koelkast en water dispenser, gootsteen, telefoon voor lokale gesprekken zoals taxi's, buitendouche, kleedkamer, binnendouche en wc. Er zijn twee dakterrassen om te ontspannen en te genieten van een panoramisch uitzicht; een heeft een kitchenette en een bar. Het Azure appartement is ingericht volgens de hoogste standaard met A / C in alle kamers en een moderne, volledig uitgeruste keuken. Beautiful locataion for a perfect stay in Kalkan!

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment near the sea. The place was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view from the apartment is absolutely breathtaking overlooking the sea, with unforgettable sunsets every evening. Steve, the host, was always available and responsive, which made everything even easier.If there had been a coffee machine, I would have given this apartment a 10! With such stunning morning views, it would have been perfect to enjoy them with a great cup of coffee. Still, highly recommend this place for a peaceful and scenic getaway!

Review of Azure Meltem appartments Kalamar Bay

The property is very well kept, well equipped and comfortable. The views are great and we enjoyed swimming in the pool, which has beautifully landscaped surrounds. Very good value for money and thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Steve is a great host and makes the trip stress free.

We had a very good time!

The apartment is located perfectly, a bit outside the touristic center of Kalkan, so it was perfect for us. The apartment caters with everthing you need, is very beautiful and has an amazing view. Overall a very good experience!

Well honestly, I have been to Turkey many times and this is the first time ive not felt ready to go home. I could have stayed forever and will definitely be booking for next year. The apartment felt like home. Had absolutely everything you could need and the most amazing views on the balcony and roof terrace. We practically had the pool to ourselves most of the time too which made it feel like we were staying in a villa. There is nothing i could say to fault this little gem of a place and the host was so friendly, helpful and kept in communication with us running up to the holiday and throughout the holiday. As i say, we will be back next year. Thank you.

A little bit of paradise

This is a little bit of paradise! The view from the apartment is beautiful. Very clean and comfortable a great base for staying in Kalkan. The pool area is quiet , with lovely views. A short but hilly walk to the Beach clubs and great restaurants . I would highly recommend this apartment.

Great base to see Kalkan as it’s on the edge of the town, so peaceful for this vibrant town. We very much enjoyed the beach club which is within 5 mins walk and the pools at the apartment. Steve is such a responsive owner, he considered our needs and gave sound advise when needed. A well equipped base, we enjoyed our time here very much.

Perfect place to enjoy holidays (+ teleworking) in Kalkan!

Apartement and shared areas (swimming pool, barbecue, parking, etc) are nicely furnished and perfectly maintained, high standards. There are only a few apartments, and location, which means that it's very quiet, also because location is apart from the city center. Beach club and supermarket are close by (walking distance, even if it's hot outside). The owner, Steve, is very reactive in case of question or anything else, and communicates very well.

Fabulous!!

Fantastic Stay in this well equipped apartment with stunning views. Great communication and help on hand if needed. Lovely welcome pack with water on arrival which was a great help. We had such a great time. The boat trip recommended by Steve was brilliant and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The flat rate for taxis down the hill made life easy and we ventured out in the evenings and tried many great restaurants. Such a lovely place! We will be back.

Meltem Azure, Kalkan Review

Absolutely loved our stay at Azure Meltem Apartment in Kalkan. The apartment was just what we needed and the quiet pool complex ideal for cooling down in the hot sun. Kalkan itself is a great choice of destination with loads of things to do such as beach clubs, boat & mountain trips. The range of places to eat & drink were exceptional. Steve, the host, couldn't do enough to help day or night. The apartment is based half way up a hill in Kalamar Bay, which is about a 30 minute walk into Kalkan (be aware of the hill as this is very steep!) but also gives fantastic views over Bay. We hope to return to this wonderful part of the world again soon.

Quintessential Family Holiday

"Quintessential" ( representing the most perfect or typical example of a quality or class ) Family Holiday apartment. All our questions, and there were a few, were answered comprehensively and in good time. The airport taxi transfers were the best we've ever had over many years travelling to Turkey. The Meltem complex, outstanding views, clean and comfortable apartment, facilities and pools were better and bigger than expected. The caretaker Suleyman and housekeeper Hace were very helpful. We loved using the roof top space relaxing at the end of the day or doing Yoga early in the morning. We are already looking forward to returning to Kalkan and it has definitely replaced previous favourite Turkish holiday destinations.

The apartment is lovely. It’s incredibly well equipped and everything has been thought of. I particularly liked the wonderful bath and beach towels, which were great quality and embroided with the name of the apartment. Such a nice touch. The pool area offers so many different places to sunbathe and it was very quiet when we we were there. We used the barbecue and seating area by the pool one evening, which was quite special. I have never been anywhere in Turkey that offers so many restaurants serving first class food. We never had a bad experience. The roads out there are hellishly steep, so you need to be fit if you want to walk anywhere. We used Kalkan cabs who were always prompt and they have a standard charge across all their taxis, which is TL170 from the apartment to town. Steve is a great host and very available. The information he provided was comprehensive. He arranged our transfers to and from the airport (£65 each way) and booked us a fantastic boat trip for just £40 each with Sunset boats. Overall a wonderful holiday in a beautiful place.

Value for money

It was easy to book the apartment & communication with Steve has always been excellent. I thought using whatsapp was a great way to keep in touch & ask any questions. It was great that he booked a boat trip for us before we went (£40 pp) & I would highly recommend Sunset Boat Trips - the food is delicious! The apartment is a good size & has everything you need. The balcony is great for eating outside or watching the boats & does provide some needed shade. The pool area is great with plenty of sunbeds & umbrellas & the addition of the fridge & water dispenser by the top pool are a nice touch. We've been to Kalkan twice before & it never disappoints. The variety of bars & restaurants are great with some really good food. There are more beach clubs now than when we first went & we tried Zest which I would recommend. Steve's apartment is a good base but be prepared for some San Francisco like roads! We used taxis every night to pick us up & take us into the centre - it's too far to walk & very steep to walk up to the nearest bars & restaurants. Taxis are easy to book & cheap. Kalkan is a great place for a holiday & I'm sure we will visit again!

Gorgeous sunny October stay

Communication from the owner was brilliant. The apartment itself is very well equipped and clean. The welcome pack was a nice touch. The views from the apartment are fantastic. The pool area is very clean and our teenagers loved it the trio of pools. We pretty much had the whole pool area to ourselves for the entire stay. The location is in a very quiet location in the Kalamar Bay Area and just a short walk to the kalamar beach club which we visited several times during our stay as it’s got great service, food and lovely clear sea. Our girls enjoyed the Watersports too. There are other restaurants 5-10 min walk away from the apartment too such as Aqua and House. We had some great lunches at these restaurants. Most evenings we got a taxi to Kalkan old town and enjoyed the abundance of amazing restaurants, particularly enjoyed Barahat, Kalamaki, The small House, Belgins kitchen, the list is endless… Getting a taxi is not a problem for us as it’s a really easy / quick way to get into the town and so cheap at £2 each way. I would recommend this apartment as a good base in a quiet area with great sea views. It’s worth mentioning also that as our visit was mid to end of October and the sun is lower , the pool and terraces have plenty of sunshine all day.

Vacation in Kalkan

Rented apartments in July for 10 days. Everything was fine. The apartments are excellent very convenient with amazing terrace overlooking the sea. Children really liked a good pool. Owner in touch and always ready to help. We are pleased to have chosen these apartments for our vacation.

Kalamar Bay

Pre booking was brilliant and the owner Steve was really thorough and professional. The property is in Kalamar bay which is a good 20 minute walk into the harbour. The apartment is in a pretty location with wonderful views and very peaceful. The accommodation does need updating, the showers were mouldy in places and the shower heads both leaked. The patio door latch at the bottom was broken so had little or no security. We stayed 9 nights and no towels or bed linen was changed and the apartment wasn’t cleaned at all during our stay. Pool area was lovely and maintained very well and was spotlessly clean and the gardens were also spotless. We had a lovely holiday again in Kalkan but would say the apartment needs a little TLC.

Hi Roger / Amanda I'm sorry that you found some things not to your liking during your stay, I can only apologise for any inconevience you have encountered. I did say to contact me if there was something you needed and I could have sorted that out for you (you didnt call me?) especially towels and bed linen as we do see the need for replacement during COVID-19, some of our guests prefer the maid not to enter their apartment with current restriction so maybe there has been some mis-communication which I do apologies for. There seems to be some small shower head leaks which we will fix as soon as we can and the patio door lock, thank you for bringing this to our attention. we sincerely hope that the issues you have raised have not spoiled your holiday and if you want to book again with us in the futiure we will offer you a favourable discount. This apartment is absolutely second to none, in a beautiful quiet location with absolutely stunning views. Modern, spacious, airy, tastefully decorated with excellent outside space. Lovely apartment , well equipped comfortable & stunning views.

Home from home, well equipped very chilled and comfortable love the Turkish decor , comfy beds and beautifully clean. Pool area spacious and gardens tended every day. 3rd visit to Kalkan/Kalmar a piece of heaven on earth just hate leaving. Apartment is close to restaurants on the Kalimar road enroute to Kalkan which is full of further restaurants all first class and shops. Kulube beach club is at the bottom of the hill from the apartment we love this place , Kalmar beach club is also close and offer a taxi home. If you want a peaceful chilled holiday with stunning views first class restaurants together with clear blue skies and sunshine look no further ❤️

Fabulous apartment in amazing locatiom

I found Azure apartment to be a perfect location, with the best panoramic views I could of wished for, the apartment itself had everything I could of needed and was spotless and tastefully decorated. Azure is located within a beautiful private complex with communal areas and a beautiful swimming pool set over 3 levels. I found the owners discription of the property and surrounding areas to be detailed and extremely helpful, I received updated information from the owner as my holiday date approached, as assured my transport was arranged for me and waiting when I arrived and also prompt for my return trip. Azure is close by bars, restaurants the beach (amazing scenery) and only 20 minutes walk from the town centre, a taxi would only cost £3 and can be called from apartment on the free phone in the communal area. I found the town to have a huge variety of bars, shops, many restaurants including roof top dining, boat rides, weekly market and much more. There Is so much to see and do, a holiday here can meet the needs of any person, it can be as quiet or as entertaining as the individual makes it. I met some lovely friendly people and found the locals to be extremely helpful and cheerful. I have already recommended Azure and Kalkan to my friends and family and I am already planning return visit.

We are a working family and resident in the UK. We all love to travel to interesting worldwide locations but always see Turkey as our preferred holiday destination. We enjoyed family holidays in many Turkish resorts where we have met many people who have become lifelong friends. While on holiday in Kalkan in 2014 we decided that we loved it that much we decided to buy a property which we could enjoy with our family & friends.

We had holidays in Kalkan previously and decided it was the place for us, the resort has a laid back atmosphere and has a mature feel mixed with modern outlook. There never seems to be too many people in the resort or surrounding areas which makes it perfect for us to relax and just forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Azure is situated in Kalamar Bay which is approximately 20 minutes walk from the centre of Kalkan. Kalamar Bay is quiet as indeed is the Azure apartment which is situated on Meltem Boutique Apartment complex.
