I was worried at first because I really don’t like “old” houses. But the house was great! It had modern updates where they mattered and comfy beds.The location was wonderful and the property manager was very responsive.We probably won’t get back to Paso Robles anytime soon but, if we did, we wouldn’t hesitate to book another stay here!

We enjoyed this place. Updated bathrooms and bedrooms. Close to downtown. We will be back soon. Summer months would probably be best so we can enjoy the pool.

Our stay here was amazing. Walkable to the main restaurant area and quite neighborhood. Beautiful house with a lovely pool, would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Stay in Paso Robles

Beautiful house in a great location. We enjoyed walking to town for dinner and ice cream for the grandkids. Pool and spa kept everyone engaged. Excellent spot for family vacation.

Charming

I always love unique stays and this was definitely one of them. The location was great, you can walk to downtown which makes wine tasting very convenient. The house had old charm, it is nice to stay in a house with history.

Historically Great

Loved this place. Hot tub was perfectly hot BTW.... 7 minute walk to downtown (and downhill). The Sonos system in the kitchen was such a pleasant addition to the vacation. Beds were super comfy and the bathrooms are in tip-top shape which is a big deal. Would absolutely come back to this spot.

This was a perfect property for our group. The location was close to town and made for a more enjoyable experience. The house itself was roomy and comfortable for our group. Communication was superb - prompt and professional. Overall, I would recommend this property.

Historic downtown with pool!

Family and friends trip to Paso with 8 total people, for a wild pig hunt and wine drinking. Great location for such a large house. Property was clean and pleasant. Wish the pool was warmer, but no real complaints.

Wonderful house for our group. Plenty of room for everyone to have some privacy but also so many areas where we could have game time, eat and enjoy wine and cheese! House was super clean, plenty of linens, we had absolutely everything we needed. The only “issue” was the older windows- they are beautiful but a little difficult to close. Overall- a wonderful house.

Fam Visit to Paso

Charming house, freshly landscaped, lovely pool. We had some issues with the temp controls but it was unusually hot and prop managers responded quickly to our issues. Also fantastic location in proximity to downtown. Overall great stay for a family vacation to Paso. Would def recommend.

this was an excellent property for our family group - the pool was great given that it was very warm. the place is well equipped. Good sitting /dining space inside and out. we had minor problem with the BBQ that was fixed by Evolve team. Other features - walk to shops and cafes, quiet area

Quirky but lovely

I initially felt like I was taking a bit of a risk with this one but we ended up having a lovely stay. It was nice to be close to everything so we could walk. The bike shed was very well equipped, the showers were hot and had good water pressure, and the kids had fun in the hot tub. The neighborhood is relatively quiet at night and felt quite safe. I would stay here again.

We were a group of 10, 6 adults & 4 kids (5yrs & under), and have mixed feelings about our stay. Pros: neat historic house close to downtown (walkable). Good bedroom and bath setup. Has cooking amenities you would need for a large group. The pool and hot tub are clean - nice to have the pool when it’s 100F outside. Plenty of seating outside, half with shade. Cons:The AC did not work for the first 2 days of our 3.5 day stay, it was sweltering hot especially upstairs where the beds are and the host/area manager clearly did not want to deal with us after many text/app/phone call exchanges. They also were not available after 5pm. The refrige/freezer were warmer than normal (48F & 5F) upon arrival. We turned both to correct temps as soon as we arrived yet it only got warmer the first 2 hours until we had to go find dry ice in order to keep it cold. I had brought 3 days of frozen breast milk for this trip and it started to thaw due to the freezer not maintaining a normal temperature. I was livid. I also had preplanned our groceries be delivered upon our arrival . . The area manager was no help, I was told no one is available on weekends to fix the AC. That is untrue, the house owners stopped by to help fix the problem and they said that is completely untrue. With the AC fixed, the breaker to the fridge/internet/oven blew, tried 3x to reset, 3rd time worked. Monday morning landscapers arrived & sprinkler went off. Imagine our surprise. Garbage can was full upon arrival

We are so glad that these guests enjoyed the historic home, the amenities and the location. It is truly a gem and we are so grateful to be able to share it travelers coming to the area. We truly felt horrible that the guests were without properly working A/C for much of their stay. It was a particularly hot weekend and we know that can be miserable. I must take this opportunity to clear up how the situation was addressed so that other travelers understand that we did our best under the circumstances. The call came in from these guests at 8pm on a Friday night. We responded with a phone call and attempted to troubleshoot possible remedies over the phone, including resetting the breaker. The guest assured us that they tried that and it still didn't work. At that time we offered to let them depart the home with a full refund and find alternative housing, knowing it may be challenging to get an HVAC provider out on a weekend. They opted to stay with a substantial refund up-front. We continued to try to reach an HVAC provider through the weekend but did not get calls back. On Sunday the cleaner (not the owner) went to the property to see if they could identify the issue with the A/C- a last ditch effort- and sure enough it was a breaker the entire time! While I do not doubt that the home was very warm for two of their nights, we did attempt to remedy the situation and offered compensation and/or the option to relocate for a full refund. We care very about our guest experiences.
