Charmant huisje met uitzicht op het meer aan de rustige zuidkant van het Skaneateles-meer met 100 voet aan de voorkant van het meer en een botenhuis direct aan het water. Perfect om te genieten van het meer en uw problemen te vergeten. Uniek pand met zeldzame gemakkelijke toegang tot het meer te voet of met de auto. Open plattegrond met openslaande deuren naar groot dek van zonovergoten woonkamer en slaapkamer met spectaculair uitzicht op het meer. Heeft ook een tweede slaapkamer met 2 aparte bedden plus een voorkamer met een dagbed dat uitkomt op een queensize bed voor extra slaapopties. Volledig ingerichte keuken met wasmachine / droger, landelijke eettafel, comfortabele stoelen voor 6 en een gashaard.

Botenhuis ingericht met plezier en comfort in het achterhoofd. Glazen schuifdeuren open voor dubbele bootslip. Groot houten dek op waterniveau met kleurrijke Adirondack-stoelen. Vuurplaats aan het meer, perfect voor het grillen en roosteren van marshmallows. Volledige bootslip met voldoende extra dokvoorgevel voor het vastbinden van uw vloot van kleine boten.

Ongebruikelijk gemakkelijke auto toegang tot het meer - rijden naar het botenhuis recht aan de rand van het water. U kunt uw boot starten vanaf de openbare bootlancering van Scott Park, een halve mijl van het huis of, als het waterniveau in het meer laag is, kunt u de Skaneateles Marina in Mandana gebruiken, op 10 minuten rijden van het meer. Let op: er is een kleine, rustige weg tussen het hoofdgebouw en het boothuis.

Great Rental for Boaters

My husband and I love to spend long weekends in the Finger Lakes when we can. We invite friends and family up for the day/night and spend as much time on the water with our boat as we can bear. Water front access to the lakes is a must. Boat house, boat slip and dock are what primarily attracted us to this property. We were able to launch at the Town of Scott park just down the road and park our boat trailer over the weekend at a local yard not far from the launch. Was able to tie off boat in slip and make so there was no contact with dock from wakes. Road between house and dock is somewhat narrow to park a truck and boat trailer along. Room for 2 or 3 cars/trucks. House was clean and furnished with most of what you would need for a long weekend. Kitchen could use some updating. Large table somewhat hard to get around. Bathroom recently updated, nice sink and walk in shower. Third bedroom off kitchen good for kids, not so much for adults. Beautiful view from the house of the lake. Communication with owner was good.

Perfect spot!

We rented this cottage for 3 friends because our lake place is so small. This has level lakefront, good parking, huge deck, cute cottage on gorgeous Skaneateles Lake. Who could ask for more? Would definitely rent this place again.

Family vacation

This was my family’s third summer staying here and we had a wonderful time, as always. The house is amazing - there are lake views from the entire front side and the sun just pours in. The bathroom and kitchen are clean and well stocked, and the house is decorated and furnished in such an inviting way. We had a blast jumping off the dock into the clear water and using the kayaks and paddle boards that are provided

Beautiful view of Skaneateles lake. Wonderful private beach.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. Lake Skaneateles is a gorgeous lake for swimming, walking, and sunrises. Very peaceful and clean water. We hope to return next year!!

Beautiful house in an incredible location

Could not have enjoyed our stay more. The house was perfect and Eric was very accommodating. Absolutely fell in love with Skaneateles Lake and the surrounding area. Can't wait to come back.

Lovely cottage

Clean and well equipped cottage with a good layout and lovely views of the lake. The area was very quiet and we thoroughly enjoyed the use of the kayaks from which we were able to get quite close to a number of bald eagles.

Such a wonderful week!

My wife and I were lucky to take advantage of a last min cancellation and what a wonderful week we had. The waterfront was great for the pontoon boat we rented. Hope to come back next year.

Beautiful lake house

One of the best VRBO properties we have experienced. Owner very responsive and helpful. The home was well furnished and supplied. Already booked for next year. The lake is sooòoo crystal clear and the eagle fishing was an extra bonus.

Best week of our summer!

What a little gem on the south end of the lake. You won’t be disappointed in booking this property. From a fully stocked kitchen, to the tasteful and thoughtful decorating throughout and the comfortable bed and bed linens, there is nothing here that will disappoint! The view, the lake and the quiet peaceful setting made for a wonderful and relaxing week long stay for my entire family. My son fished his heart out, we all swam and loved sitting around the fires at night. Lastly, Eric was incredible to communicate with and making sure we had everything we needed. Thanks again for a memorable week, we hope to make it back again soon!

A week in June……

The property was exactly as described. The house was very clean and comfortable and the shoreline and boathouse were great places to relax, swim and kayak. And the patio off the front of the house provided an amazing view of this incredibly clean/clear lake.

Peaceful escape

The property was clean, fully supplied and located right on the lake. It comes with a full kitchen, and cable tv. Wall-to-wall doors open for screened in experience.

A Perfect 10

EVERYTHING was perfect!!!The owners provided everything---from linens, all appliances, an abundance of food staples, cookware., kayaks and even wood for the firepit!. An added benefit was that they allowed dogs and the set-up with the fenced in areas provided our dog with freedom & safety, The furnishings were clean & comfortable but the view and access to the lake completed a wonderful vacation.

Great Stay

My wife and I stayed in July and had a fantastic time. The house itself was great, very clean and stocked with everything you could need. The front of the house is equipped almost entirely with french doors so the views while inside are spectacular as well. When outside you have the choice of a furnished patio with the grill or down by the boathouse there was a fire pit and a large dock. The kayaks available for use were in very good shape and a nice touch. Would highly recommend staying here you wont be disappointed!

Lake break

The house was just like it looked in the pictures. The view from the deck was stunning. The water was really high while we were there but the kids and dog were still in the water every day- with the deck submerged. We hiked, shopped and fished! The owner checked in often to make sure our trip was going well. Very pretty area!
