Locatie is perfect voor avonturieren rond, wandelingen in de omgeving, wandelen of het eiland verkennen en terugkeren naar een veilige ruimte om te ontspannen.
We hebben ook een assortiment snorkelspullen beschikbaar, als je interesse hebt, vraag dan naar mijn strandfiets!

Gelegen op Manini Beach sub-divisie, slechts 2 minuten lopen naar een aantal van de meest ongelooflijke snorkelen in de wereld .... de prachtige Kealakekua Bay! Genieten van kristalhelder water vol met kleurrijke rifvissen en groene zeeschildpadden zijn enkele van de prachtige bezienswaardigheden die u zult ervaren. Kajak of paddle board op kalme dagen ... U kunt dolfijnen of Mantas zien in dieper water en in de wintermaanden Bultruggen!

Deze studio heeft een kleine keuken, met een full size koelkast, kookplaat, barbecue, blender, koffiezetapparaat, waterkoker en genoeg ruimte om een ​​rustige diner te genieten.
Een patio buiten is omgeven door een visvijver, bloeiende planten en fruitbomen.
De comfortabele queen size bed heeft 100% katoenen lakens en er is een nieuwe queen size converteerbare bank als je het nodig aparte bedden. Een TV voor het bekijken van Net Flicks en veel ruimte om uit te strekken en te ontspannen.
Buiten is mijn favoriet op maat ontworpen douche!
Strandlakens en sommige strand spullen zijn ook inbegrepen.

I stayed for 5 nights and can't say enough about Jill and her amazing tropical garden and property! The studio really is roomy and there is a perfect covered lanai to sit and relax by her largest pond filled with blooming flowers. Manini beach (yes just minutes to walk to) has incredible snorkeling and lovely views of the bay and a community garden for the locals. Captain Cook area truly is a jewel and I can't wait to come back!

Absolutely loved this place, the whole place is a work of art, and the outdoor shower was so much fun! Got to see lots of cool insects, lizards,and frogs, and not to forget Shmozer the kitty, very loving outdoor cat! Don't know where to start! Jill's welcoming friendliness, or the well-appointed kitchenette, or the wonderful outdoor shower, right next to the pond filled with blue lotus, and the breakfast table - all these and more. But it's the location, 5 minutes to Manini Beach if you walk slowly. Looking across Kealakekua Bay, Captain Cook's monument is right there, best snorkeling on the island. Four miles down the road to City of Refuge and Two-Step, another great snorkel spot. Outside of the hustle and bustle of Kailua, quiet and restorative, but only 20 minutes away if you're missing it. I can't wait to go back.

Great space and walking distance to beach

We really enjoyed this property. It was quiet, tucked away and walking distance to a beach with snorkeling. Checking in was a bit confusing after a long travel day but hardly a reason to not stay here. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

This was a first, no-one has had any issues checking in, the studio is always open for your welcome! Google maps GPS does not take to the front of my house. They are confusing. VRBO should have the proper directions to get right to the door though! I am happy you enjoyed your stay! A hui hou, Jill

This was my third stay at Jill's Mermaid Studio in the small, quiet village of Napo'opo'o, about 30 - 40 min south of busy Kailua. The village is right on Kealakekua Bay and close to the best snorkelling on the Big Island (IMO). Jill is very knowledgeable about the area and is always helpful and positive. The apartment had everything: good wifi, all the cooking tools I needed, lots of room and a great outdoor shower.

Way bigger than I imagined and I loved how it was decorated. Walking distance to the ocean and the studio is well equipped with anything you might need. I would absolutely stay here again.

The Sweet Mermaid Studio was exactly as described/shown in the photos, and larger than expected. There was plenty of room for my partner and I to spread out and relax after long days of adventuring. Jill was incredibly kind, and it was fun to see her art on display in the space! The location couldn't have been better for easy access to fantastic snorkeling and felt very safe and secluded, although the road to get to the property might make you car sick.

I enjoy paddle boarding and swimming in the bay almost daily! I like sharing my Hawaii with my guests and I feel good when they've had an exciting adventure to share or just a beautiful day! I am an artist and I enjoy collecting art. I have designed this Sweet Mermaid Studio, I did all the faux painting and some of the art on the walls to create a colorful, warm space for you to relax and enjoy! Meeting new folks from different places in the world has been both interesting and rewarding.

I feel this location is some of the best snorkeling on the Kona side of the Big Island. There are many hikes and places to explore in walking distance. This neighborhood is quaint, close to the ocean and very quiet. I know all my neighbors and feel very safe here.

The short walk to the ocean entrance with an incredible, underwater marine sanctuary is wonderful to explore! There are many hikes close by and wild places to jump into the ocean if you're athletic enough to climb out scaling the wet rocky coast. Close to "Pu`uhonua O` Honaunau" the Place of Refuge, a National Park where there is educational history and more fabulous snorkeling at "2 Steps". Also, this is close to Ke'ei beach which is a white sandy quiet beach and has a great surf point for the more experienced surfers! There is an old Kings trail that travels along the coast all the way southward to Ho'okena Beach Park.
