Ons charmante koetshuis op de bovenverdieping is nieuw gebouwd en heeft twee slaapkamers, een woonkamer met keuken en een complete badkamer. Kenmerken omvatten hardhouten vloeren, hoge plafonds, een gastronomische keuken en een charmante inrichting met antieke meubels en kunstwerken van lokale kunstenaars. Geniet van het geweldige weer van Savannah op het balkon. De keuken biedt roestvrijstalen apparaten, stenen werkbladen, zitplaatsen voor zes personen en alles wat u nodig hebt om een maaltijd voor familie en vrienden te bereiden. Elke slaapkamer heeft een queensize bed en mooie antieke meubels. Een queensize slaapbank met traagschuimmatras bevindt zich in de woonkamer.

We zijn altijd beschikbaar via sms, e-mail, telefoon of face-to-face interacties. We houden ervan dat onze gasten zich comfortabel voelen en zich volledig 'thuis' voelen; daarom hebben we zoveel of zo weinig interactie met onze gasten als ze zouden willen. Er is zelf inchecken, dus u hoeft ons niet te coördineren om de sleutels te krijgen. We wonen in het hoofdgebouw en kunnen u helpen met alles wat u nodig heeft, inclusief bezienswaardigheden en aanbevelingen voor restaurants!

De buurt
We bevinden ons in een prachtig gebied met voornamelijk historische woonhuizen gemengd met enkele bedrijven. Gelegen op een steenworp afstand van het meer dan twintig hectare grote Forsyth Park met speeltuinen, tennis- en basketbalvelden en vele festivals het hele jaar door, waaronder het begin van de beroemde St. Savannah Patrick's Day Parade.

Het hoofdgebouw werd gebouwd in de jaren 1890. Onze schilderachtige straat is veilig met licht voetverkeer en vriendelijke buren. We hebben verschillende smakelijke restaurants binnen een paar blokken en een grote supermarkt om de hoek. Een aantal coffeeshops, bakkerijen en reformwinkels liggen ook allemaal binnen 1-5 blokken.

Zich verplaatsen
Koetshuis ligt op een steenworp afstand van Forsyth Park en op loopafstand van alle historische attracties van Savannah. Een trolleystop bevindt zich op twee blokken afstand. River Street en City Market zijn een gemakkelijke en mooie wandeling van 15 minuten. Neem elke keer een andere straat en verken het unieke karakter en de geschiedenis van de stad.

We bevinden ons op 25 minuten met de taxi van de luchthaven Savannah / Hilton Head International. Savannah is een heerlijk bewandelbare stad; dus als u per vliegtuig arriveert, is een auto niet nodig.

Cute and comfy except for the furniture

Lots of extras in the rental but then again important things missing like proper ice cube trays and paper towels or napkins. Location is fantastic - quiet, very close to Kroger and Forsyth Park. Had to back into the garage each time because it’s very small and garbage cans make getting in and out tricky. Furniture is very uncomfortable from the chairs and couch to the beds. Time for a refresh.Would rent again but not for more than 2/3 nights and if I couldn’t find something on the first floor. Little to no communication from the management company. So hopefully nothing I really needed to know.

Downside

The only issue we had was that the dishwasher wasn’t as clean as it could be and when I opted to hand wash the dishes instead the dish drainer was not clean either.

Great Property

This was a hreat property in an amazing location. We we able to walk to most olaces we wanted to check out. It was quiet. While it is a smaller property, it never felt like the 5 of us were tripping over each other. We would definitely stay again.

Very nice property

The place was great and very clean. We’ve had vacation property on VRBO in St Petersburg FL. Just a couple of suggestions. Supply your guests with paper towels. A little better TP. It might be time for a new couch. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

Decent small place

Overall property was fine for what it was…. No TVs in bedroom, beds were pretty basic and not overly comfy, towels were really rough, no paper towel starter roll, it was a 1 mile walk to river street which isn’t bad but the distance adds up. Overall not terrible but a little pricey for how far it was from midtown area

Great apartment near Forsyth Park

This 2nd floor apartment (no elevators) is located a short walk from Forsyth Park and a bus stop for the free DOT service, which runs to the downtown area. I'd give this apartment a 5* review for location except the DOT bus stops at 7:30pm. Many of the nearby restaurants stop service after lunch, and we frequently found ourselves a mile away from the apartment in the historic district for the evening. Safe walking environment during the day and evening hours. The garage was plenty big enough for an Audi Q5, but beware that that the garage is immediately adjacent to an alley with another building immediately across the road, so cornering into the garage is tight. The apartment was clean and well furnished.

Disappointed

Upon entry, flies, gnats and unidentified flying bugs flying around in living room, kitchen and bedroom. No dishwasher soap, ran out of soap in bathroom on day 3, burnt out light on the very dirty back porch which also included a bucket full of cigarette butts. The pull-out bed was full of food and crumbs when we pulled it out to use it. During rain, the door to the house leaks so we had standing water at the entry point. The refrigerator leaks. There are not any wash clothes to do the dishes and no dishwasher soap, so not really possible to wash the dishes. While trying to find a decent size pan, I came across some cooked chicken strips in the cabinets just laying in there, I threw out a few of them, but not all. Didn't find a pan bigger than a 6 inch skillet to make food for 5 people. We made it work, but a larger average size pan would be nice. I understand that the air gets turned up when not in use, but as advised we turned it to 78, so why was it 81 in there when we arrived. HOT and took all night to cool down. The roku stick also doesn't work well, it errors out a lot. Not a big deal to us, just making note. We tried to wash and dry some towels, but the dryer doesn't dry anything. We ran it 4 times and towels were still wet. That was trying multiple settings. The kitchen could really use some pepper (plenty of nutmeg :) ) and maybe a spare roll of paper towels as we quickly ran out. The place has potential. It's in a nice neighborhood, grocery store is next door. We were disappointed in how dirty it was inside though. I did not reach out to the owner as I wasn't going to expect her to come clean the place while we were there. We just dealt with it. I had just hoped for a much cleaner, better stocked place for the price. The owner was very nice when I did communicate with her before our trip. It's quite possible there is a cleaning company that does the cleaning and they are just failing. I'd give the owner another try in hopes of a better experience.

Good Location and Accomodations

A friend and I (both single ladies in our 60's) stayed at the Connemara Cottage for 5 nights. The cottage is cute, comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed coffee each morning on the little balcony. The cottage is conveniently located by Kroger and two blocks from Forsythe Park. The free bus shuttle is two blocks away, making it convenient to get around the historic district without needing a car. The streets in the area are lined with beautiful homes, and we often walked to our destinations to enjoy their charm. We never felt unsafe.

Perfect location for us

Newer more model spot one block off Forsyth park. Perfect for biking or walking without the crazy crowds of closer to town spots. If you want historic this is not it. The hosts were awesome and on the property if you needed anything g but we did not. Only feedback is TV was very limited and the info book could use a refresh.

Great stay in Savannah!

My friend and I stayed here for a few nights with our kids to hang out in Savannah. The place had a great layout for our group and had all the amenities we needed - 2 queen beds with plenty of closet space and a big dresser, a great kitchen with plenty of plates, bowls, cups and silverware, nice size bathroom with a big combo tub / shower, and a nice sitting area for my friend and I to visit after our kids went to bed. The unit was a great location, just 2 blocks from Forsyth Park and by the free DOT shuttle pickup, across the street from a Kroger, and had plenty of free street parking along with a compact garage spot. The owners were super quick to respond to any questions and had some great recommendations for us to eat at and check out. Overall it was a great stay and we’d definitely stay here again when we’re back in Savannah!

Wonderful apartment!

We are so thankful for this great place! We found it after arriving in Savannah and needing to move from our hotel and Christen was so flexible and allowed us to check-in a day early. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. Right by a Kroger and within walking distance to all Historic Savannah has to offer! 2 blocks from Forsyth park! Couldn't have been more enjoyable!

Quick getaway

Small but cozy. Had everything we needed for a mini getaway with our best friends. A little dusty but overall it was clean and quite efficient. We loved the area and the free bus being so close. It was a breeze getting around town. Wish it was slightly warmer. Next time we will come in April. Thanks for a nice alternative to a motel room!!! We love using VRBO!

*Cute as a button & "hotel clean". *Full kitchen *1 block off bus line *free parking 1 block off *1 block off Forsythe Park *You couldn't choose a better location! Note- Stairs: A single flight up greets you as you walk in the door to get into the apartment. If you don't mind, it dont matter!

Great place to stay!

This was a great place to stay while visiting Savannah. We loved the fact that we were a half block from the grocery store and a block and a half from the free historic district shuttle. Loved being so close to the beautiful Forsyth Park. Our little cottage was perfect, and our hosts were wonderful! Would definitely recommend this place to others!

Great location, very clean and updated.

I get extremely nervous booking condos because you never know what you might get. But We truly loved our stay at cottage. It was so close to the park and Kroger’s which also had a starbucks inside. It was also close to the free dot bus that took us all around. The only down fall was the stairs which I didn’t see in the pictures. I did read there were stairs in the review but I assumed there was a door to the stairs. We had a one year old so the stairs were an issue but the owner was very quick to get us a gate. The gate didn’t work so we had to block the stairs with the couch. But all in all I’d recommend this location to anyone.

Charming apartment!

Charming apartment with everything you might need. Beautiful old style of Savannah but everything new and working properly. Good location with a lot of free street parking for a second car, a huge supermarket in the corner and one stop of the free bus service of Savannah two blocks away. Really a great stay.

Spacious, private and cozy

My fiancé and I went to Savannah to get married and this was the absolute perfect place to stay to do it! Plenty of room to get ready, right next to the park, and just an easy place to stay while we explored after. Some VRBO homes are not private or feel as cozy, but this place was the exception! We will absolutely stay again the next time we go to Savannah.
