Even with the River so low and Main Street in Pagosa Springs under construction this property made our stay special. Wonderful evenings on the upper deck overlooking the 100s of hummingbirds and other wildlife. Chris is a wonderful host and is only seen when you need something. We look forward to returning.

great place for a big family

We enjoyed our stay, it's beautiful and right on the river. The house was spacious, clean and well equipped. The owners were very friendly although we saw briefly upon check in only but they were easy to get a hold of by text(when/if needed). We were there to ski and it's a great location!

This home has the most gorgeous outdoor setting you’ll never want to leave the house/yard. Spacious, clean, stocked with essentials, perfect location to Pagosa restaurants, and it’s a short drive to Wolf Creek.

The one drawback to this property is the kitchen, which is not shown in the pictures. This kitchen is not set up for anyone that wants to do anything other than marginal food prep.

Perfect family cabin

Beautiful scenery no need for sound machine with the beautiful river right outside!!! Blue jays everywhere. Great location for weekend of fun-snowshoeing snowboarding and sleigh rides…could not of dreamed of a better trip for my family. Thank you Stream Dreams

Great place for adults

Everything about this location is exemplary. The only complaint I have is the balcony railing was not safe for small children. The 16 month old toddler with us could fit thru and under the balcony’s railing.

Best house in Pagosa Springs!

Excellent property! Spectacular views of the river and mountains. Super close to Wolf Creek. If you are worried about owners being below on the property. Don't be concerned, we never knew they were there! Chris and Rachel awesome job!!!

I truly can’t say enough great things about our whole experience with this house.1. Host communication is top tier! Checked in with us before, during, and even after when my son forgot some clothes and gave them back to us!2. Location, location, location! Much closer to wolf creek which is great! I hope to come back in the summer time too for some fishing!3. Comfortable beds4. Well stocked kitchenI could go on forever but you’ll regret not renting this house!

The property owners were very kind and helpful. The place was very clean despite being old. It was nice to be on the river…. The sound was heavenly. The property owners do live on the downstairs portion of the house as stated in the description. The property requires a flight of stairs to access the space and another flight of stairs to access the upstairs bedrooms. We constantly felt a little paranoid that we were being a nuisance but never had any complaints. Lots of antiques and knickknacks around the house so not ideal If you have little people that are curious. Overall good experience.

Excellent house in the perfect location.

Everything is as nice as pictured. Hosts are very responsive if you need anything. Close to the ski area and town for eating out or shopping. The private hot tub was fabulous after a day of skiing. My husband and son enjoyed fishing in the river right out the back door. The host built us a campfire one night which was nice. The kitchen, bathroom and laundry room is well stocked for the guest. There is also a game closet with games for all ages. I highly recommend this property! Thank you to the Motts!

5 Stars – Riverfront Fun & Fresh Trout!

This place was the dreamy mountain escape we didn’t know we needed! Tucked right on the San Juan River, we spent our days soaking up the views, playing cornhole by the water, and sipping coffee on the deck like we were in a commercial.The best part? We went fishing and actually caught a rainbow trout! Big thanks to our awesome host, Chris, who not only welcomed us warmly but also showed us how it’s done. Total legend.Close enough to town for a bite to eat, but far enough to feel like you’re in your own peaceful bubble. Can’t wait to come back!

Coming Back Next Year!

We are a big family, my husband and I and 4 kids (2 in college and 2 in high school) and this house fit us perfectly. This house is right on the river and the backyard area is amazing as well as the side yard that has its own private pond and sitting area. There's even an area for a small bonfire to roast marshmallows. The pictures online do not do it justice! We came in early June and the weather was perfect. We river rafted, went ATVing, horseback riding, hiking, did the escape room in town, and shopped around the town of Pagosa. Chris and Rachel are super sweet and extremely helpful! Chris offered to teach us all to fly fish but our schedule wouldn't allow it. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Stream Dream

We had a great getaway at the Stream dream property. It is located just a short distance from town and to wolf creek. It would be a great place to stay any season of the year. The property is right on the river. It’s beautiful and quiet. Property management very responses and helpful! We will visit again!

Perfect Location for a serene getaway

Everything about this place was fantastic! The house is right on the San Juan with a great view and running stream. It is 6 miles from downtown Pagosa, and 20 minutes from Wolf Creek. The house was better stocked with kitchen items, games to pass the time, and all the linens we might need than most VRBO's. The owners were great hosts. Their food recommendations were spot on, and I even got a fly fishing lesson. We highly recommend this spot.

That river!

Stream Dreams is perfectly situated on the river with a beautiful lawn, chaise lounges, comfy chairs for soaking your feet in the water, a hammock, and a covered porch with reclining deck chairs. The kitchen is small but well stocked, and the bedrooms were perfect for our family of five. We’ll be back!

Wonderful family vacation destination.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. Stream Dreams had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for our 2 families (4 adults/4 kiddos). Large play space and the river. We are booking again for next summer.
