Old & outdated
Kanaloa property grounds, pools, management is wonderful BUT unit is tired. The owners of this unit need to do some deferred maintenance. The patio has a wonderful view but the inside needs help. The mattress is old, lumpy, sagging, pillows the same & stained. The floor fans they provide are full of dust & lint was afraid to use. The living furniture is so old, 2 old recliners,dining room chairs cushions stained. Very disappointing unit. Screen door doesn’t fit the door so cockroaches & geckos in the house. Hope the owners will read this & make some improvements

I expect a refund
The location and the amenities the place had to offer were great, but there was no transparency about essential amenities needed. Our specific spot did not have AC, and we were all groomsman in a wedding so we showed up sweaty and it was major inconvenience for us. One of the people staying here suffered from health related issues due to the lack of cooling in the place. There was a cockroach in one of the bags and we did not have access to more trash bags and essential cleaning items when we had planned to cook most nights while staging on the island. It was a beautiful spot with great execution but lacking the execution and the communication through the app did not help

Good Night's Rest
Overall a pleasant experience in a very well maintained, quiet, property. Good proximity to coast but there are only 'lava shores' (no sandy beach). Literature in the property notes that use of the facilities (e.g., pool) is restricted to members and resident guests.

Property was clean. Location was good. The lack of AC was tolerable, but could be uncomfortable during warmer times of year. Facilities were clean and well kept.

Nice condo in a great location
The condo was a bit older but was well taken care of and nicely furnished. It was quite comfortable even though it lacked A/C. The onsite managers were quite responsive to any requests or small problems that arose during our stay. We definitely would stay there again.

The place was beyond great! Great design and themed. Full kitchen with everything you need. My only complaint was completely my fault as I didn’t check to see if there was A/C. That heat + the humidity was not working for us. I did go an purchase 2 more fans that had more “power” but it was just blowing hot air at us. The only complaint was that I did have to catch 3 large roaches during the evening and night time.

Super comfortable stay
We really enjoyed our stay here Kanaloa! We arrived late at night but check-in was not a problem as the security guard met us and showed us to our room. The next day we checked in with the staff who were very friendly and helpful. The security guard at the gate was always very friendly as well. The condo was super clean and very comfortable for a family of seven. All the greens and foliage surrounding the property were maintained impeccably. We used the lanai several times for breakfast in the morning enjoying an ocean view as well as a view of the greens. ❤️

Great location
We had a great trip, fully equipped property with beach chairs, tennis gear, golf, snorkle equipment and more. Fantastic!!! Our only hiccup was wondering if the location was confirmed because only half of the payment was collected through venmo and the other half was collected at the property.

Great stay! Wonderful comfortable stay in the big island. The place itself was super clean when we arrived and the staff on the grounds were friendly and helpful. I’d highly recommend.
