Fun, family-friendly place. We had a wonderful stay (2 adults, one elementary school kiddo). Hosts were very responsive. Heated spa and pool were a blast. Beautiful sunsets. Well stocked kitchen ware and utensils, near grocery stores. You will need a car for this location.

Perfect house for our Legoland/Southern California vacation. We were an extended family of 8 ages 4 to adult and felt like there was enough space to accommodate all of us. The house is perfectly situated between shopping and attractions in a safe neighborhood. The salt water pool was refreshing and the hot tub was relaxing after long day at the park- we got to observe the tail end of a meteorite shower from the hot tub (my new favorite way to watch the stars). We roasted marshmallows over the fire pit and truly enjoyed our time as a family. My only compliant is I wish I booked it for a couple more days!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! The rooms were spacious, the outdoor living space was amazing, including pool/hot tub, landscaping, and fire pit, and the hosts were very helpful and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. This house was perfect for our time away as a family.

We loved our stay at Casa De Norte! The house was clean and comfortable, the pool and spa were the perfect temperature, and Jessica and Justin were great hosts! This will be our go-to rental every time we visit Vista!

Perfect get away

Perfect house to bring the family. The pool and hot tub were amazing!!! Everything was so clean no excuses at all. Perfect home to check out San Diego during the day and relaxing in the evening.

Great place to relax!

Stayed at the property while our daughter recovered from surgery. The pool area and sunroom are great places to relax as a family and we felt very at home during the stay. The owners were very easy to communicate with and even dropped by to give us the lighter for the fire pit after we could not locate one in the house.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The house was perfect for our family, especially with the added safety features for the pool area. We loved spending time together, swimming and cooking on the great grill. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked, which was a huge plus for my son, who loves to cook. The beautiful outdoor space with a pool, spa, and fire pit was a favorite spot for everyone. The owners were helpful when checking in. We would highly recommend this house and would definitely stay there again!

Comfortable stay with great pool

The home was very clean and featured attractive landscaping. The pool was well-maintained and provided a relaxing retreat each day—definitely a highlight of our stay. While heating the pool came at a high cost, it was essential given the time of year. The surrounding neighborhood could use some upkeep, but it was quiet and peaceful throughout our visit. Overall, we had an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Family trip to San Diego

We had a great family trip to San Diego! We had a group of all ages from 11. Check in was easy. Host was there to help us with use of the spa equipment.Everyone had a wonderful time in the spa/pool. House was clean and welcoming. Kids loved the game room/pool table. Kitchen had everything we needed.Beds were comfy. Close to stores and restaurants. We had a lovely stay!

Great stay

This is a very, very nice house. We enjoyed our stay here a lot. Just me and my husband so we enjoyed the quiet and peace. Jessica and Justin were very accommodating. Just like a big lake house. Very comfortable. The roads to get here are a little tight and uphill but the place feels like an oasis when we got there.

Wonderfully relaxing home!!!

What are incredible property!!!! Great for relaxing AND entertaining!!! Very cozy, very very well done shabby chic. Definitely will reserve again when we come to California. Owners very very cooperative in fulfilling any requests. The standard size pool table saw quite a lot of play time (what a marvelous entertainment feature!!!).

Visiting Family In Escondido

I stayed here with my wife, mom, aunt, and 2 year old son. The layout of the home was really great for my family, and the safety alarms on the doors were super helpful for my young child. The rooms were comfortable and clean, overall a success. The pool was expensive to heat (we stayed in October) but it was really lovely. Views from the deck were great, an awesome outside hangout. We stocked up on bottled water and foods. There are some random leftovers from prior guests. It was convenient to where we were visiting family members, but was an expensive stay.

Casa De Norte

The house, although a little dated was well equipped for a great family vacation. Our grandkids loved the pool. The house is located close to Walmart, Target and Stater Bros making groceries easy to pick up. Jessica and Justin were quick to help with a couple of questions. Loved that everything labeled and notes around the house to explain how to use things. It took the guess work finding the way things worked. Thanks for a great Holiday Home

beautiful home and grounds

This hillside home has everything you could need. The home and decorations are spectacular. You feel at home immediately!! All the outdoor patios are lovely and access to all outdoor areas are convenient with private areas as well. the hot tub and pool are amazing. The sun in the afternoon with cool breezes was very refreshing. We loved playing pool and gathering in the family room. The outdoor speakers are a great touch. The fire pit at night is warm and convenient to use. We couldn't have asked for abetter place to stay!!! Loved the streaming for TV use.

Family Time

Casa De Norte and hosts,Jess and Justin, exceeded our expectations. We were in San Diego to celebrate a 13th birthday with sun, baseball, and adult decompression time. Casa De Norte accomplished all of that. Everyone slept well in comfy beds. Meals were easy to prepare in the well equipped kitchen. We made family memories in the pool and at the pool table. Morning sunrise and evening sunset views from the living room and outdoor space were medicine for the soul! Jess and Justin, thank you for your perfect balance of availability and privacy.

Vista with a sunset view

This is the second time we've rented the house It was perfect for our family reunion Jessica is lovely and the house is too Very comfortable with lots to do between the pool and pool table and cooking in the fully stocked kitchen. Will be back next year.

Nice getaway

Great place to escape the Phoenix heat. Very clean. Had everything we needed. Pool was great. Our only complaint was the nest thermostat. We like it cool and it kept resetting to a temp that was too hot us. Overall excellent place. We would definitely book again.

Backyard Paradise!

Had such a great stay at this beautiful property. The pool and hot tub are almost too good to be true, well at least for a Midwesterner (great temperature!) Hosts were kind and communicative. Easy to travel to neighboring beaches, SD, etc.
