Dit is een mooie hut met een vleugje modernisering om aan iedereen verblijf te verbeteren. Naast National Forest wandelpaden en GRATIS sneeuw spelen en sleeën plek! LOCATIE
Wilt u toegang tot een korte wandeling of beter nog als het sneeuwt er enkele leuke kleine heuvels die zijn geweldig voor snelle run door te schuiven naar beneden met een binnenband of slee van uw keuze. Ga naar het zuiden langs de kleine doodlopende straat door de brievenbussen, dat pad is nationaal bos dus geniet. Wil je een snelle hap? Thelma's is een geweldig diner in de straat. Vergat iets van de markt? Hoofd Oosten op Big Bear Blvd voor een paar straten en er is een kleine markt aan uw rechterhand, met alles van verse groenten vers gesneden vleeswaren.

Op het belangrijkste achterdek is er een patio tafel met stoelen voor 4. De cabine is voorzien van hitte zorgt ervoor dat met een bijgewerkte oven zodat er geen problemen op die koude nachten.

Nog een stap naar beneden naar het benedendek is een jacuzzi die comfortabel plaats zou moeten bieden aan 6 personen. Er zijn 4 stoelen op het benedendek voor zitplaatsen en ontspanning. De woonkamer heeft veel zitplaatsen met twee grote banken en twee extra stoelen met kussens. Er is voldoende parkeergelegenheid in de gated belangrijkste oprit voor maximaal 3 auto's evenals een andere oprit plek direct in de voorkant van de cabine.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cute little cabin. Check in was so bizarre being in the jaccuzzi store with rude, young people that made us wait over 10 minutes to get the process started. Pictures make the cabin look much bigger, deceiving. It’s in a lovely neighborhood, but they need to clean up the property! Although we paid a hefty cleaning fee, it was not as clean as I’d like. The carpets weren't even vacuumed, as i have a baby that is crawling. The kitchen was tiny, but we made it work. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, but the control to turn off the bubbles did not work. The upstairs room has skylights to wake you up at the crack of dawn, 545 am! The upstairs shower door wouldn't close, so I showered in the cold, with the glass door wide open. I wished there were seating on the upstairs balcony, it would have been used more. All 3 beds were extremely uncomfortable! The couch was filthy with crumbs in the cracks while I was looking for a lost object. The sliding glass door and screen were a pain to use. The cabin was ok for the money we paid, but we will be getting something nicer, bigger, cleaner next trip.

Satisfied with a few minor issues

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First of all, the property management company is amazing (thanks so much for your support, Judy)! It’s rather unusual to start the review with praises to the property management company (and it’s a first for me), but it’s true. We were staying there during the biggest snow storm in the history of Big Bear in the last 30 years and the company went an extra mile to make sure that we felt supported. So, now a few positive highlights: The house has a hot tub, which we enjoyed. It has a washer and dryer, which was great. It also has 2 fire places - one in the living room (which we used) and one in the upstairs bedroom (which we did not use). Four adults and 1 child stayed comfortably in the house, which has 3 bedrooms, one bathtub and two showers. We did not do much (the slopes, the Zoo, and the Italian restaurant that we wanted to check out were all closed due to the snowstorm, so we were mainly stuck in the house) but we focused on the positives: we were surrounded by magnificent nature, beautiful scenery and fresh air, and we had a working grill. As far as the minuses go, we were not particularly picky, but the cleaning of the house was lacking (we moved the couch to retrieve an item that we dropped, and found a bunch of toys from the previous occupants and a pile of dust that looked a million years old). We hope that it is an unusual situation because of the snow storm (we booked the same day as we arrived, so we were very understanding), but we did not appreciate paying the cleaning fee as this was not the only example. A separate issue was the quality of the mattresses. They were extremely SUPER SOFT (I can’t empathize this enough). It’s neither a negative or a positive, as we all have our preferences, just something for people to know about if they prefer firm mattresses like we do. Useful tip: if you are visiting in the winter, put chains on your tires before you start driving up the mountain

Perfect fall get-away with the best hot tub

We planned on coming to big bear for oktoberfest this year and wanted to find the perfect cabin, THIS WAS THE PLACE. The rooms are extremely nice, you walk in, have a big living room and kitchen to your right, a sliding glass door in the back that leads you to the first part of the deck with the BBQ, and then down stairs to the hot tub. To your right is a hall with a bathroom and shower, a middle room that sleeps 2, downstairs room that sleeps 4 with an attached bathroom/shower/laundry, and then an upstairs master bedroom that sleeps 2 with an attached bathroom. Very comfortable beds with warm blankets, the showers were perfect (especially the downstairs room with 2 shower heads) Furniture and décor is very cabin-y feeling, really makes you feel like you're away from it all, and out of the average neighborhood. One of the best parts is the town is a 2 minute drive down the road, and the hiking trails are literally a 30 second walk from the front door, location is perfect for everyone. FIREPLACES were some of the best we've ever had, especially in the master bedroom. Having a fire place in the bedroom and living room really brings the cabin vibes full circle. The open ceiling windows were also amazing, when it gets dark you can see the trees and stars. Out of everything this amazing cabin had to offer though, the best thing was probably the hot tub. This monster of a tub can comfortably fit 7-8 people. we were all over 5'5 the tallest being 6'4. We will definitely be coming back to this spot, we love this place, and everything it has to offer. All of us are in our mid to late 20s, but again this place is just perfect for everyone.

Reviewer Comments: We noticed the mouse on the first day we got there because it was in the master bedroom hiding! Dreading having to find a new cabin on such short notice we toughed it out! It was disgusting and we noticed mice dropping in the sink on the kitchen utensil right away! To top it off the jacuzzi that was advertised wasn’t even working and never got hot enough to enjoy! I paid good money for this cabin and I was very disappointed, I don’t feel we can trust these services in the future.

Beautiful home! Cozy and comfortable!

We loved this house! Very nice inside! We really liked the comfort of the living room. It had plenty of seating for everyone, it was situated so we could all converse easily, see the tv, and enjoy the fire! There was a little bar area that was nice for setting up drinks and bar ware. The kitchen was very small but we didn’t do any cooking so it wasn’t an issue. The bedrooms were all decent sized and spaced separately from each other. All the bathrooms were really nice too. We enjoyed the hot tub! It was clean, hot, and roomy! We would definitely stay here again!

It was nice in a sense that each family had their own bedrooms on separate levels. Very clean and suited our family perfectly. Definitely plan on returning to this location again.There are 2 reasons for the 4 star rating and not the 5. There wasn’t a blender. I spent about 2 hours driving store to store looking for a blender. The second reason was for the hot tub. It was amazing except for the amount of bees and wasp that came out of the pump/filter system once the jets came on. Other than those two things it was again, amazing. I just hope that the next time we return we will be able to use the grill. We weren’t able to due to the wildfires.

Cleanliness and Customer Service are Seriously Lacking!

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I arrived to what we envisioned to be a quaint and clean cabin, only to be disappointed. The pictures on the website do not depict the reality of the home, and the lack of cleanliness. Upon entry into the cabin, we were immediately disappointed. The furniture was old, shabby with holes and dirty looking, the dining room table was wobbly and seemed ready to fall apart, there was paint chipped off the dining room walls and the surfaces and floors were dusty. The sofas were old, outdated, and made of cloth, which is not a good idea for a rental cabin since it can't be cleaned well. They had crumbs, stains, and what looked like dog hair on them. As a result, we had to place towels on them so that we could feel somewhat comfortable sitting on them. There was a layer of dust on the coffee table, dining table, bedroom nightstands, all the baseboards and moldings and other surfaces. There were mouse droppings on one of the windowsills in my son's bedroom, and one bathroom appeared to have some black mold issues. Some of the towels had yellow stains on them, and the bathrooms were only lightly cleaned. Dishes in the cabinets still had food particles on them and none of the glasses or silverware looked like they had been washed properly, if at all. The exterior had issues as well. The patio table looked like it had been wiped down with a dirty rag with the streaks left for all to see. The BBQ was filthy and belonged in the trash rather than on the patio. The hot tub had bugs in it, and not surprisingly, no skimmer was provided. Considering we are in the middle of a pandemic, we expected the cleaning protocols to be at a heightened level, however that was evidently not the case. My family and I immediately went out to purchase cleaning supplies so that we could stay there without feeling uncomfortable. In the end, I had to argue with the property manager as to why this was a problem. After multiple calls to them, I had to negotiate a partial refund. Never again!

However, the upstairs unit had a terrible moth infestation, which is the room I happened to stay in. We must have killed over 50 moths throughout the 3 nights and the loud buzzing made it difficult to sleep.

Holiday trip

I was so impressed how clean it was. Very spacious as well. There were 3 diff ways to get in the house so kids enjoyed hide n seek and just running around. One thing tho, We cooked a lot and i was prepared & brought my own food containers for leftovers. I dont think i saw any at the cabin. Other than that, beautiful home away from home. Definitely wanna stay here again.

Cozy Cabin Retreat

It was a nice little cabin tucked away in the nieghborhoods above the traffic and crowds of town, while still being close enough to enjoy all Big Bear has to offer. The kids enjoyed the rope challenge and go karting down the street while the adults enjoyed a glass of wine in the jacuzzi. The property was a bit old from the curb but once inside it was nice, clean and modern. We would definitely recommend this stay to anybody looking for a nice weekend getaway from the city.

Cozy Cabin Retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of six stayed here over this past Labor Day weekend. It was a nice little cabin tucked away in the nieghborhoods above the traffic and crowds of town, while still being close enough to enjoy all Big Bear has to offer. The kids enjoyed the rope challenge and go karting down the street while the adults enjoyed a glass of wine in the jacuzzi. ADORABLE cabin Nestled among the Pines. 2 Master Suites with plenty of features, including a private deck, romantic fireplace, sky lighting & a bath rain shower. This is an adorable cabin with a touch of modernization in order to enhance anyone's stay. Next to National Forest hiking trails & FREE snow play & sledding spot! NEW 65-inch SMART TV with Roku in the living room & smart TVs with Roku in the two primary bedrooms.

On the main back deck is a patio table with seating for 4. The cabin has forced air heat with an updated furnace, so there are no concerns on those cold nights. A few more steps down to the lower deck is a Jacuzzi that should comfortably seat 6. There are 4 chairs on the lower deck for seating & relaxation. The living room has plenty of seating, with 2 large couches & 2 additional cushioned chairs. Plenty of parking in the gated main driveway for up to 3 cars & another driveway spot directly in front of the cabin. Two of the three bedrooms are master suites with a private restroom, shower, & smart TV with Roku.
