We loved our fall weekend with family. LOVED the lake sand bar, hope to return here one summer to explore the lake and quaint towns nearby. The pizza from Bucky's was delicious!

This was lovely place to spend the week. Very quiet, not a lot of traffic or people, deer out in the middle of the day and close to the lake. We took our dog along and she loved the stay as well. Would recommend to others.

We enjoyed our stay at the Market St. house. The house was clean and was a perfect setup for our family. The boys loved the game room! Our host was very helpful by leaving us instructions and thoughtful for the welcome basket filled with snacks & coffee pods! We would definitely stay again. The only feedback is the master bedroom mattress could be replaced.

Cozy cabin in a quiet peaceful area. Not far from a real sand beach. Close enough to Noah’s Ark and the original Duck tour for several day outings. Host had plenty of indoor and outdoor games to entertain and a lot of amenities such as gas or charcoal grill and fire pit with wood provided. Very much enjoyed our stay! Sue and Diane and family

Positief: Inchecken, communicatie en locatie
Nice appliances (coffee maker, fridge, blender, gas range, microwave) separate heat and cool units in each bedroom and main living area, heater in master bathroom worked great. TV’s in each bed room, Game room was ok. Card table and pool table got lots of use! Ample parking in the sloped driveway. Awesome fire pit and firewood PROVIDED!! A couple of miles to a public power boat launch.Carpets and flooring were past the point of cleaning or repair. Carpeted areas show considerable wear and staining. Hard surface flooring (vinyl plank) in the kitchen/dining areas was extremely worn. Master bedroom mattress was past replacement time, (major sag in the middle). 2nd bedroom is super small with just enough room to squeeze around the bed. Definitely could use living area furniture update, certainly not comfortable for more than 3 or 4 guests. All in all, I consider it to be a great hunting and fishing cabin for the guys, but not a good family spot. We met another couple there and made it work, just not a good value, 1500 for a week. We will look elsewhere for our next visit.

I stayed at the Castle Rock lake cabin with my 3 kids (20, 17 and 14yo) and we all loved it. There was a TON of games to play, Ping-pong, pool table, bags, yard Yahtzee, bocce ball, lawn darts and much more. The cabin was clean and nicely stocked. Lots of pots and pans, spices and most all the little things you hope are stocked or left behind from other travelers. The cabin is close to the water, so we had a really nice breeze coming in on the porch. We had 2 trucks and 2 boats and there was plenty of parking. Beds were all comfortable and the air conditioning in each room was really nice, everyone could control their own temperature. There was enough space for everyone to lay around and be comfortable. Communication with host was great and fast responses. I would defiantly stay here again. Thank you so much!
