Sharah, The homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following: Owner's response: "Sharah, We're sorry that you had a couple of issues while at the property, had you reached out to us we would have happily done what we good to remedy these and make things right. We are available for all our guests and can be reached by phone, email, or text. - We take cleanliness very seriously and apologize for the Q-tip you found when you arrived, we will talk with the cleaning crew to ensure they do a more diligent job with cleaning. We are also planning on having them do a deep clean very soon - Regarding the trash cans, we live close to the forest and we have our share of Mother Nature's critters stop by to pillage. There are raccoons, bears, javelina, and bobcats who make their way into the neighborhoods to scour for yummy treats. We would have been happy to come out and clean it up for you, we're sorry for the inconvenience - We are a dog-friendly location, we can't control what the neighbors do with their dogs, we have contacted animal control to make them aware of the situation. We have not seen them off the leash and they are always fenced in We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for."

We've reminded our team to stay as efficient as possible.- Based on your feedback, we're in the process of replacing all the throw rugs and have scheduled a full deep clean of the home—not just a standard turnover.- We reached out during your stay about the garbage disposal to coordinate a repair but didn’t hear back. Our plumber was able to resolve the issue quickly after check-out.- While comfort preferences can vary, we appreciate your comments about the mattresses and couch and are keeping them in mind for future updates.Thanks for taking the time to leave your review!

Owner's response: "Sara, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. - We appreciate you letting us know about the cat odor. We have taken care of the situation by removing the bench in the back, we pressure-washed the home with a solution to clean anything that was sprayed. We have sprinkled cat repellent solutions all around the property in an attempt to keep stray cats away. We cleaned the windows inside and out and they also use a repellant solution as a second line of defense. We will continue to use the repellent every couple of weeks on the property. - We hoped the refund given would have helped with the inconvenience. We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for."
