We rented this cabin for 10 days for our 50th wedding anniversary. We inspected the property immediately upon check-in. Damaged walls and upholstery stains. A blood stain was on the loft drape. The loft floor and kitchen floor have deep, long-term scratches. Dirty living room couch. No dish rags. The "smart TV" is aged and is not truly smart. Management had to bring out a ROKU to make the TV function. Housekeeping came and cleaned the upholstery stains and vacuumed the couch. The house has cleaning equipment, a vacuum, a broom, and a Swiffer, but there aren't any Swiffer supplies. One major issue is the non-functioning ice maker and water dispenser in the side-by-side refrigerator. After several correspondences with management, they finally revealed that the water was shut off to the appliance, despite pictures on the VRBO app showing the appliance and the amenities list including an ice maker. In their defense, management reimbursed me for the ice I purchased. It's the little things that make a difference and say welcome home, like adequate storage space. All dresser drawers are filled with blankets and pillows. No closets. No dryer sheets. A stand lamp that can't be plugged in. One and a half rolls of toilet paper for two people for a ten-day stay. No greenery, inside or out. The big positive is the natural fireplace. There is a fire pit outside, which we did not use. We enjoyed the wildlife that walked by and the Teton Mountains on the drive to the cabin.
