From start to finish, the experience was top-notch.First and foremost, the owner's attention to detail and hospitality were unmatched. Immediately after booking, he reached out to introduce himself and provided detailed check-in instructions along with a treasure trove of recommendations for local dining and activities. It was evident that he genuinely cared about ensuring guests had a fantastic stay.Upon entering the unit, I was struck by the warm and inviting decor. Every corner exuded comfort, making it feel like a true home away from home. And talk about convenience! This place was stocked with everything imaginable, from fully equipped kitchen essentials to spare toiletries like razors and toothbrushes. They truly had thought of everything.During our stay, we encountered a minor hiccup with the door lock, but the owners were quick to respond and resolve the issue. Home away from home!

I have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and this is one of the BEST! The guesthouse is incredibly well cared for and no details have been overlooked. The space is very comfortable and the unit is well stocked. Location is fantastic and a perfect base for exploring all of San Diego. A quick 10-15 minute walk to the beach. Neighborhood is very nice and feels very safe. Outside patio is a great space, as is the balcony with ocean views! Owner is very responsive from time of booking to check out. Do not hesitate to book this fantastic place. It is truly is one of the best!

Everything was clean and looked just like the pictures. Communicating with the host was easy and I always received a prompt response. This is what a house rental should be, clean and no unexpected surprises! Would stay here again.

OB Escape

Our stay was flawless. Communication with the owner, Rick, was timely and gracious. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We appreciated all the attention to detail including the quality appliances and fixtures, coffee fixings, and soaps/shampoos. We didn’t need to purchase anything for our 4 night stay. This was our first visit to San Diego, and we decided the Ocean Beach neighborhood was the perfect fit for exploring both the city and the coast. OB has a great laid-back vibe and felt like a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle. We would definitely stay here again!
