Gross carpet

The carpet was gross, dirty, and stained. The walls are marked up and dirty. The mattresses, bedding, and pillows also had stains. Just felt yucky. Also, we had to go to the store and outfit the house with hand soap in the kitchen, extra toilet paper, etc. The size, layout, and location of the house was fine, it just needs to be reconditioned. I wouldn't stay there again unless it was.

All guests loved it, big home, large rooms and the At Home team assisted us 24/7 indeed, great great team.

Nice place to stay

I mainly booked in this neighborhood for the lazy river and other amenities, but there were so many people in the pool, it was hard to see any water. My kids didn't want to be in the crowd, so we used our little splash pool instead. Even though it was small, we had lots of fun it it! The house was nice. Very spacious. The bathrooms were clean and looked rather new, but the house had several walls with black marks on them (possible from furniture rubbing the walls?). A little bit of touch up paint would make the entire house feel new. The beds did not look very plush, but we were pleasantly surprised and they actually were very comfortable. We discovered that the two leather chairs in the living room reclined. That was an awesome bonus! Overall, we would probably stay here again.

AC doesn't work properly

Pros - location to Disney, Property was clean, good size to accommodate 10 people, the maintenance guy was nice and tried to repair the air but was unsuccessful. He did hang the broken door and replace the broken wall plate. Cons - The air conditioning was terrible. Water was leaking down the wall and out of ceiling lights from upstairs because the air was stopped up. It never cooled the house properly the whole time we were there. It was 84 one day and maintenance tried to fix it but was not successful. They said the homeowner had to approve replacing the thermostat but it was never fixed. After being at the parks in 89-degree weather all day you should be able to cool off in your rental that you paid too much money for! There were lots of broken items: a door was off of the laundry room just propped against a wall, a broken wall plate in the kitchen, a broken chair outside just laying in a corner, twin beds upstairs are both falling apart (some of these broken items were in a review from a month ago and still broken) Storey Lake is a great location but chose a different home. This one needs to be repaired and the air conditioning needs to be addressed. I don't see how you can rent out a house with the AC barely working when it is very hot outside and just not fix it. Don't waste your money here.

Spring break

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home was clean upon arrival. Kitchen stocked so so. Had to borrow things from neighbors but it worked. There was a broken chair left out on the patio near splash pool area. We just avoided it during our stay. The one master with the master bath attached has 2 twin beds in it, (one bed being broken and tilts). Find this off to not have a king in. None of the rooms have a king bed which would be nice for a husband and wife to sleep in. We felt the "queens" were all more like fulls. It is .75 Miles up to club house where all the pool activities are. You can get a gulf cart to pick you up and drop you for a tip. Pool is very crowded and VERY hard to get a seat. We would go and get a seat at 9 a.m to assure we would have one. One day we had seats for 4 hours to find out one of the loungers were left out in wrong area night before and it was very"cabana" seat and we had to give it up, with no others chairs available and management in pool area did not care that now my sister in law had to sit on the ground. We had friends that stayed around the corner on Windermere and they had several cars broke into one night. The security here is not on top of things. Lots of random people in and out of property as they don't check for their papers and scan them. Some gates are even just left open so surrounding neighbors in and out. Pros: Clean, professional management, Close to Disney springs, short drive to universal city walk and stores. Cons: Home could use some tlc and a king in one room. Security is iffy.
