Stay over the Christmas 2022 at Chilli Blu
The house was clean and nice. We checked in on one of the hottest days. There may be only a few days like this for the whole year and maybe it was just a coincidence that we had to check in on a 38-degree day. However, for the price, we paid we were expecting all the rooms to be cooler and/or a system to cool the whole house and also nice comfy beds. There were 3 rooms and only one air conditioner on the ground floor Dining area to cool the whole house including the large living area and 3 bedrooms.. It was really a very hot week (generally the Christmas week is hot) and we all had really uncomfortable sleepless nights. The fan in the Master bedroom was making a noise when put in Medium or High. Also, all the mattresses were uncomfortable including the bed in the master bedroom. Part of my family checked out earlier since they couldn't have a good sleep overnight. We did a BBQ on new year's eve and had to clean all plates since they were not cleaned by the cleaners and had not been inspected by whoever looked after the property. Instead, there was a plastic liner to use over dirty plates (we don't use plastic liners for BBQs due to possible chemical release into the food). There was also an incident of the toilet rim freshener being flushed out blocking the sewer system, for which we had to pay part of the Plumber's invoice. To start with, whoever fixed it to the toilet rim had not done it properly (probably the cleaners) and I am still wondering how it got flushed so easily unless it was not fixed properly. Overall I would say, the house was nice but much more attention to detail should have been carried out by whoever looks after the property and guests..
