Lemonade Cottages and Retreat is a small community of five recently restored cottages ideally located in the quiet and beautiful rural setting surrounded by farmland.
While the facilities are modern and comfortable, the atmosphere is one of stepping back in time.
This cottage is a perfect for two couples looking for en-suite bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.
Newly renovated from top to bottom with brand new appliances and furniture. Brand new hotel quality bedding and linens.
Behind Lemonade Cottage is a secret garden just for you where you can eat as well as relax in your own private secluded space.
There is a large shared sitting area in the middle of the other cottages, some of which is covered and free use of the BBQ and furniture.
This holiday home includes 2 bedrooms, two bathrooms; one with a shower and one with a whirlpool tub. The living room has a stone fireplace, full kitchen and a flat-screen TV, The fully equipped kitchen has everything you would need including an oven to try your hand at Irish soda bread plus a dining area to share a meal. Small added touches include USB ports beside each bed, smart mirror in the bathroom and a Delonghi Dolce Coffee maker. Groceries can be ordered in advance and catering is also available on request.
Towels and bed linen are provided free of charge.

The many other sights along the West Coast of County Clare - the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands and the remarkable landscape of the Burren and the colourful town of Doolin. This is a perfect base to go touring. Limerick is 44 km from the holiday home, while Ennis is 28 km away. The nearest airport is Shannon Airport, 25 km from the cottages. We are close to the Shannon Estuary town of Kilrush where you will find world class restaurants, shops and even a water park open in the summer. Ferry to Akill island for a lovely day trip. a little further along are the beautiful beaches of Kilkee and Loop Head lighthouse.

Quaint group of cottages in the country

The managers were very sweet and accommodating. The home has a great kitchen and living space. The bedrooms we’re comfortable. One of the bathrooms is quite small. My husband and I are both under 5’7” and less than 165 lbs so we could fit in the shower but it was difficult to bend over in. The home was not air conditioned ( as most are not) but it was quite hot and humid and opening the windows brought in the moths and bugs. It is very convenient if you want to do Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher before flying home from Shannon.

Canadian couple relocated to rural Ireland to live the life less stressed. Moving to Ireland was our best decision and it was truly love at first sight.
Lorraine has spent years in hospitality and since the age of 12 her parents owned a small hotel. The last 5 years she has been the travel expert on a major Canadian TV show and bought the cottages in Ireland to renovate with her long term partner Keith.
Their aim is to provide a unique warm welcoming space for travellers offering comfort as well as offering the simple but useful things that the couple look for when travelling themselves such as USB charging ports beside the bed and hotel quality bedding.
These five cottages are situated together in a group and can be rented all together or separate for a rural retreat or meeting.
