Perfect Stay for a Relaxing Weekend

Everyone in our group had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The house was very clean and well appointed, and is secluded in the farmland yet close enough to explore Gettysburg and the surrounding area. The host was even kind enough to leave our group 4 free tickets to the National Apple Harvest Festival that was taking place during our stay. We would all stay here again.

Cozy place to stay

We absolutely loved this place. If you want peace and quiet this place is it. The property is beautiful. The house was cozy and my entire family loved it. I truly had no idea how beautiful PA was.

406 Celebration Hill Home provided the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. Having a peaceful environment, cleanliness, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable bedding made our stay a very memorable, relaxing stay. The location was a perfect jump off to all points of interest. Thank you!

Cozy spot for Christmas away from home

We were visiting the area to see family over the holidays and had a wonderful Christmas at the house. It was immaculately clean, very comfortable, and had everything we needed to prepare dishes for our Christmas celebration. It was a special surprise to walk in and have the house already decorated for Christmas, including a Christmas tree. The location is a little remote but beautiful and was perfect for us.

This renovated farmhouse is exactly as described and we had a marvelous time staying here. The house is well-maintained and extremely clean. The owners provide many thoughtful touches. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Remote Farm House

The house was super clean and very nicely decorated. Clear instructions were left on HVAC, fireplace and tv. Close to Gettysburg and Pine Grove Furnace State Park. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway, this is the place for you!

Thanksgiving Getaway

We travel with friends quite often and have stayed at various locations. This property is at the top of our favorites. It was very clean, instructions were clear and available upon check in. We had a very minor leak under the kitchen sink and with in 5 minutes Curt was there to fix it. Would definitely stay there again.

Gettysburg Area

Wonderfully remodeled farmhouse tucked among the rolling hills near Gettysburg. If you enjoy the peace and quiet of country life….you’ll love this well appointed rental away from city lights and hustle! We used it as a base point for jaunts to Philadelphia, Hershey ( I don’t recommend) and Gettysburg.

Beautiful and peaceful

This was a perfect place for us to stay with our 3 kids - plenty of room, very clean, updated, and pretty! GPS took us past the place - it's quite rural and dark, but it was not a big deal to turn around and find the house. Comfortable beds, nice backyard with a grill. I did wish there was a little more coffee available after a late arrival with an early morning. They had a few keurig cups but just a regular coffee maker, so I opened the cups to use. Just a minor thing. Thanks for the great stay!

Hidden gem

What a fantastic place to use as your home base while you explore Gettysburg and the surrounding area. The house is situated in the country, a short drive to Gettysburg along some beautifully winding roads. Its location is quiet and peaceful, the perfect place to unwind after a day of touring. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the front porch, enjoying the scenery and calmness. Inside, the house is fully renovated and modern with an awesome kitchen and dining room, big bathrooms (love the barn door on the main-floor bathroom), a spacious and comfy living room and three good-sized bedrooms. Communication with the owners was first-rate from the outset and arriving and leaving was effortless. If you don't mind a short drive into town, I couldn't imagine a better place to stay, short-term or long-term.
