Honestly didn't want to leave a review but I feel I have to...
So we have stayed with the owner one other separate time and it was just okay. He moved into a different apartment in the same building but he still used the same pictures from the first one. It had only four body towels (there was five of us and I marked five when booking), no small washcloths, no dish rags, no dishwasher soap, only three rolls of toilet paper (thankfully that was enough), and it was dirty. My feet became black after the first day from walking on the floor, the couch literally felt like plywood, the table in the living room was like the leaning tower of Pisa, only one door lock on the door (honestly should have more considering its STL. Since the owner did update the instructions on how to get to the new apartment, I'm still confused why he didn't update the code for getting into the building or what the password/username was for the WIFI. It seems like this isn't his full time job owning a VRBO therefore there isn't a lot of care going into it. The apartment itself has the "landlord special" if you've rented in the past you'll know what that means. I think Arthur seems like a nice man, but if he were to honestly put more care and time into this place he would get tons of re-books. It's in a nice neighborhood and close to the park. I took my two small dogs out at 2am and had no problems. Arthur did take the time to drop off more towels but it should have been there in the first place.
