Summary:
Welcome to "The Wishbone", a beautifully designed, dog-friendly and fully furnished single family Plum Island home with 2 bedrooms & 1.5 bathrooms, plus detached bunk house with full bed, full kitchen, and bathroom with shower. Just steps to the basin and 1 block to the public beach. The property sleeps up to 8 people in the summer months in 2 main house bedrooms, living room sleeper sofa and detached bunk house.

The Space:
Note that during the winter months this home only sleeps 6 as the detached bunkhouse is not available during this time (January-April).

Location: On the corner of 54th Street and Northern Boulevard, you're just 1 mile to all the top Plum Island attractions (Sunset Club, The Beachcoma, Plum Island Grill, The Cottage Creamery etc).

Property Features: Single family home plus detached bunk house on large grass lot. The single family home is about 1,000 sqft with 2 bedrooms on the second level, 1.5 bathrooms, and a living room sleeper sofa. The detached bunk house is about 200 sqft, comes with a queen bed, full kitchenette and bathroom with shower. The single family home sleeps up to 6 people while the detached bunk house sleeps an additional 2 people, for a total of 8 people on property. The home has a gorgeous three-seasons porch, covered front deck, private back deck with gas grill, high-speed internet, smart TV in living room (ability to log into your streaming services), outdoor shower, half bathroom with stackable laundry on first floor, full bathroom with shower tub on second floor, baseboard heat, 2 window AC units, fully equipped kitchen with all major appliances, drip coffee maker, 2 queen beds in each of the 2 bedrooms on the second floor, 1 pullout sofa in first level living room, 1 queen bed in detached bunk house, clean linens and bath towels are provided for all guests, washer/dryer unit on first floor, dedicated work-from-home desk space off the dining room, dining room table and off-street parking for up to 4 vehicles.

No more than 2 dogs max, $100 pet fee per pet - to be collected after the booking is confirmed.

Cleaning: Our cleaners are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations (doorknobs, surfaces, light switches, remote controls, tables, fan and lamp chains, thermostats etc).

Important: Beach chairs and beach towels are not provided. We have a Ring Doorbell Camera on the exterior of our property facing the outside of our entrance. This is not monitored but does record. We also have a Minut noise monitor system located inside the property in the kitchen/living room. This is a smart home device that measures volume levels throughout the property, it does not record sound, but allows us to respond to noise nuisances in a timely manner to ensure all neighbors are being respected. Minut is 100% privacy compliant and is required on this property. These are to keep all guests safe and to keep the property secure. Thanks for understanding!

Also, there might be some road and/or building construction near the listing that are not communicated to us prior as well as loud noises from the outside which we don't have any control over.

Beautiful family friendly oasis
This was a beautiful place to stay with the house and bunk house giving my family plenty of room to have space yet promote family time. The beach was in perfect walking distance for my little ones and the usual stress of a busy neighborhood or beach was not a problem at all. There are plenty of delicious restaurants around and the town itself is so quaint you can’t help but enjoy being there. My family is already looking forward to booking our next vacation, very pleased with everything.
