The Space:
Focused around an enormous living space with two double lounges and a giant flat screen TV and dining area with a four-seat table, it is overlooked by a sleek open plan timber-benched kitchen with a stool bar, dishwasher and coffee machine.
The accommodation comprises two extra-large bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, main with queen bed and second with two king single beds ( that can be converted to a king on request). The sleek white bathroom is decked in timber look tiled flooring, there’s an internal laundry with a washer and dryer, timber flooring, air conditioning and a giant secure covered car space that fits two or more cars.
The front courtyard is leafy and captures afternoon sunshine, the perfect space to sit around the four seat table setting and dine alfresco while enjoying the crisp, clean Hobart air.
Managed by a specialist Airbnb company, it is professionally cleaned after each guest vacates and all the sheets and bedding is maintained by a contract linen supplier.

The Neighborhood:
The Hobart CBD is only a 15 minute drive from the airport and it’s the place to be if you like being in the heart of the action. Step out the door and its only footsteps to the Theatre Royal, the Hotel Grand Chancellor, the Henry Jones Art Hotel, art galleries and an eclectic mix of shopping boutiques, cruisy coffee lounges, hipster bars as well as acclaimed fine-dining restaurants.
It’s only a four minute stroll to the riverside and the iconic Constitution Dock, famous for the Sydney Hobart Yacht Race. From there it’s only a few minutes lazy wander to Hobart Wharf and ferries to MONA. Just behind that, the historic buildings forming the Salamanca Place entertainment precinct is abuzz with a cosmopolitan hotpot of bars, brasseries and eateries. The Salamanca Market, one of Tasmania’s most visited tourist attractions, is also found there. Open every Saturday from 8.30am to 3pm, it’s more like a festival where’s there’s live music and you can meet the makers, artisans, designers and producers displaying their wares of fresh produce from local growers, clothing and handmade products. It also has hot coffee, delicious breakfast and lunch options and an array of bespoke trinkets and gifts.
You really don’t need a car in this super-central spot, but if you have wheels, it’s well worth taking a short 15 minute drive to the top of Mount Wellington, experience the wilderness and marvel at simply breathtaking panoramas over Hobart City, the Derwent River and hinterland. Sandy Bay and Long Beach are only 15 minutes to the south and offer a taste of the dreamy Tasmanian coastal town vibe with some sizzling seaside lunch and dining options.
Getting Around:
Explore Hobart on foot, or jump in the car and travel to many fabulous rural locations only a short drive away.
