Piambong House is envisioned as an escape, a spacious and stylish place to recharge. Located at the southern end of Clare on 5 acres this thoughtfully renovated former farm house exudes charm and sophistication. Welcome to your getaway in the Clare Valley.
Enjoy the seclusion or head out to explore, a 600 metre stroll will take you to the Riesling Trail, Shut the Gate Wines and the Clare Valley Food, Wine & Tourism Center with an extensive selection of local wines, food and art.
The house was originally owned by the Stanley Wine Company and lived
in by winemaker Otto Knapstien. The centrepiece of the property is the 100 year old date palm at the front entrance.
A family home since the 1990's and owned by next generation Gardi and Elle-Louise since 2021, extensive renovations were undertaken in 2022. The house holds great sentimental value so when work was complete it was renamed Piambong Farm after a town in Mudgee where Gardi parents once lived.
Today Gardi and Elle-Louise are proud to share Piambong House with their guests and work closely with their experienced host and manager Sue to ensure an unforgettable stay.
Piambong House is the perfect location to experience all the Clare Valley has to offer and comfortably accommodates one to three couples.
