We are only 400 metres away from the Great Victorian Rail Trail, which is great for biking and walking. Mansfield Township is only 10 km away on the road to the Mt Buller/Mt Stirling Alpine resort.
The Space:
The Melaleuca is located in the quiet town of Maindample, 2 hours from the state capital Melbourne with green flats, farmlands, River Red Gums, and sheep to keep you company. Perfect for leisure picnics and lazy afternoon naps under the wide open skies, watching stunning sunsets, and waking up to the gentle basks of the sunrise.
A cozy 155-square-foot tiny home close to the Great Victorian Rail Trail, Delatite Winery, and Mount Buller, a popular ski resort and snowboarding destination in winter. All with easy access to water, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for your use.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings, except for other neighbouring properties for stock habitat.

- The Paps Lookout is Maindample's hidden gem that offers expansive views of the rolling High Country hills and Lake Eildon.
- The Australian Alpine Epic is the jewel in Mt Buller's crown and a great hiking (or cycling) trail that takes you to stunning landscapes, native forests, and more.

- No smoking allowed inside or outside the tiny house
- Firewood costs $25 per tub to be paid directly to the land host
- Telstra and Optus have good signal while other networks have weak signal on the property
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Important note:
- Keep in mind that gas BBQ grill is not available during a total fire ban
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
