I am available mostly through Airbnb messaging but I give privacy to my guests. If there is an urgent issue, you can always call me.
I have been living in Canberra for quite some time now and can help you navigate your way around the local area if you need me. I can also provide you with tips on the best places to go for food or just to have fun!
There are many exciting activities and attractions to discover in the area! If you're a fan of museums, be sure to check out the National Museum of Australia and the Australian War Memorial. One of the must-visit spots is Mount Ainslie Lookout, which is just a short 13-minute drive from the apartment. I recommend going there at dawn to watch the sunrise and see the city come to life. There are also plenty of great restaurants within walking distance from the apartment. If you're in the mood for pizza, Mozzarella and Co is just a 6-minute walk away. They have delicious pizza, and I highly recommend the Capricciosa. If you're looking for a cozy and peaceful atmosphere, Trev's Restaurant and Café is a great option. And for some fantastic Chinese food with a home-cooked twist, The East Kitchen is a hidden gem that you won't want to miss.
Getting around the area is very easy, as there are several transportation options available. The apartment is conveniently located near major bus routes, making it easy to commute to different destinations. You can also use public transport such as trains, taxis, or even Uber to travel comfortably and efficiently. With so many transportation options available, you can easily explore everything the area has to offer without any hassle.
Any violation of our no-party rule will result in a $2000 non-negotiable penalty, in addition to any damages.
1. Please let us know if you need to check in early or leave later than the standard check-in/out times. We need to collect $50 for every hour, or increment thereof, of delayed check out.
2. I have a STRICT "No Pets Policy" and "No Smoking Policy". These are applicable inside and outside of the property. Any breach will result to a fine of $400 plus any additional fees for specialised cleaning.
3. The cleaning fee covers the regular cleaning and linens in the property. As this is not a hotel, please try to leave the place as tidy as possible. If the property is extra messy when you leave, an extra cleaning fee will be requested (minimum of $50).
4. Please be sure you understand our cancellation policies. You can find our current policy on our Airbnb listing.
5. Only those persons who made the reservation may stay in our property. If you're a business or government agency booking for other people, please contact us in advance to ensure access details are made clear.
6. No parties or gatherings of more than the maximum number of people that can book the property. Any non-guests must leave by 10:00 pm. And there should strictly be no loud noise after 10:00 pm. There is a $2000 penalty if this house rule is breached.
7. There are some items in the kitchen (tea, coffee, sugar, milk) which you are welcome to use. Also, the pantry has a few basics (i.e. muesli). We don't stock the refrigerator or provide any meals.
8. I list my property as not suitable for kids or infants as it is not child-proofed and we don't have baby amenities (i.e. high chair, cot). However, if the kids will be under adult supervision at all times, booking with children is no problem.
9. This property requires a security deposit which will be held by Airbnb from your debit/credit account. Breach of any of the House Rules will be assessed and relevant amount will be deducted from the security deposit, if needed. Any excess amount should be paid through the Airbnb Resolution Centre.
