No hot water and many other inconveniences
To start off with, we had no hot water the entire time as the switch kept tripping, except for 1/2 an hour. Both bathrooms’ sinks were heavily clogged, one had the hot and cold switched around and the stopper was completely broken. We were also woken up before 6:00am every morning to the thunderous sound of the sprinklers pelting our windows. It woke us up despite earplugs and a loud white noise machine.The master bedroom bed was sagging, creaking. There were 5 lightbulbs out including 2 in the master bathroom.
The sparseness of basic supplies was astounding. Every single Vrbo etc.we have ever stayed at (and we’ve stayed at numerous ones), had the following and much more. Here is what we received:
Toilet paper - Only 2 1/2 very small rolls of toilet paper for 4 people for 4 days.
Garbage bags -1. Dishwasher pods-said 1, we didn’t find it. Washing machine pods -2 for us to start doing their laundry. And they had NONE of the following: Salt and pepper, Pad of paper or a pen, Basic scissors,
Napkins, Extra blankets, container bags, clear food wrap, aluminum wrap, tissues etc.
It lacked just about everything. To be fair, we did not contact them to come fix the hot water, etc. We were barely in the house, and we did not want to have people we didn’t know in the house when we weren’t there. We had no communication from them upon arrival or throughout the course of our stay except for an email giving us the code. Would NOT recommend.
