The Space:
Situated on Virginia Street, in the heart of Glasgow's vibrant Merchant city, you will find a range of fantastic restaurants, bars, clubs, art galleries, and boutique shops for all tastes and preferences. The apartment itself is modern with comfortable, spacious rooms and a large open-plan living/dining area. To compliment that we have a balcony with tables and chairs so, if you are blessed with good Scottish weather, you can enjoy a nice cold beverage out in the sun in your very own city center escape!
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire property throughout their stay. All check in details will be sent in advance via our electronic guidebook link.
The Neighborhood:
Situated in Virginia Street, in the heart of Glasgow's Merchant city, you will find a range of fantastic bars, restaurants and clubs for all tastes and preferences. Brutti Compadres is a walk around the corner and offers fantastic deals on food and great cocktails. The apartment is well located, within easy walking distance of many local theatres, museums and universities (including Strathclyde Technology and Innovation Centre).
Also located close by are several convenience stores (such as Tesco, Aldi and Sainsburys) and these will provide the main requirements for self-catering.
A trip on the open topped bus will give a great insight into the culture and history of the city. These buses can be found in George Square.
Getting Around:
Queen Street and Glasgow Central railway stations are within 10 mins and 15 mins walking time respectively. Buchanan Street Bus Station is also some 15 mins walk.
Also guest have the option of the subway (locally known as "Clockwork Orange") to travel across Glasgow. The local subway stations can be found at Buchanan Street and St Enoch. It is an experience taking a trip on the subway if the guest has time.
Taxis are plentiful in and around the area and are reasonably affordable. Uber also operate in Glasgow so if you have the app it will work for you.
Being immersed in the City Centre of Glasgow, it is very easy to walk to all major sites of the city. In addition to that Glasgow Central and Queen Street station can easily be reached walking and can take you further afield.
Other Things to Note:
We do not accept bookings on Christmas Day or New Year.
We can hire a travel cot/high chair for your booking if needed - just let us know.
For insurance purposes, only adults over 25 years old can be hosted
