Situated in Inch Marlowe, in the parish of Christ Church, it is only a short drive from several popular South Coast beaches and is approximately 4.5 kilometres (5 minutes drive) from Oistins a commercial and recreation hub in this southern side of the Island.
The apartment is close to public transport. The coast of Silver Sands is ideal for windsurfing and the area is recognised as world-class spot for this sport. Long beach offers a large expanse of beach, approximately one-mile long, where lively waves wash onto white coral sand shores.
If you are a keen golfer you are able to visit thye 18-hole championship course at the private Country Club of Royal Westmoreland. Barbados Golf Club and Sandly Lane golf Club. Cycling and mountain biking are also very popular amongst locals this Caribbean Island.
Reggae, Soca, Steel Pan and Calypso music are part of the Island's culture and this can be experienced while staying in Barbados. Fresh fish is available at the local fish markets such as snapper, dolphin (not flipper), king fish, tuna or flying fish are amongst the delicacies which can be enjoyed on this wonderful island.
