Cacilhas is a lovely area in Almada, just across the river from Lisbon. You will find many excellent fish restaurants here, a local vibe, lovely parks and areas to walk around, with the most magnificent views of Lisbon. With the ferry you are in Lisbon within 15 minutes, at Cais do Sodré Station, which is straight in the city center. This is a perfect neighborhood for those who want to be close to the city center, but enjoy the local vibe of a Portuguese town near the beach.
